hope we ddont keep lokolongoy

Looks like we will. Sydney FC looking to regenerate a bit and give the youngsters more of a go it seems. Apparently if they can’t get Spiranovic or Jakobson to replace Jordy they’re going to trust Warland to fill the void. Also if either O’Neill or Brillante leave they’ll give the spot to Zuvela who they re-signed today. They’ve also picked up young Buhagiar from the Mariners. Definitely a youth focus in their recruitment at the moment.

He big blue man is now coaching across the ditch. Mark Rudan gets his A-League coaching break by being appointed the coach of the Wellington Phoenix.

Reading on twitter that Sydney FC have opened negotiations with Danny Da Silva as a ‘long term replacement for Ninkovic’ although he’d essentially take Carney’s spot next season. Apparently there’s issues with his contract with Melbourne City, they can’t fit him under the cap. Apparently Sydney can believe it or not.

Rumour doing the rounds is that it looks like Adrian will be upgraded to marquee wages and Bobo will be departing for Turkey, if this is the case, this isn't the best news. I mean keeping Adrian is fantastic and he is very valuable to the team, but we NEED Bobo. There's no one else in our team that can do what he can do. No one else can play a convincing 9 in our squad for the whole season. Whereas we have a bunch of wingers avaliable. We cannot go into the season starting Brosque as a 9 and rotating him with Charlie. It just wont work, Charlie isn't at that standard yet and Brosquey is at the stage of his career where he needs to managed carefully, he can't be the 9 every week. I really really hope they've got someone at least somewhat close to Bobo's pedigree lined up to fit under the cap.

Again this is not a complaint that we are keeping Adrian, far from it, I'm ecstatic that the best player in the A-League is staying with us. I'm just concerned that we may not be able to adequately replace Bobo within our salary cap.

Again, these are all rumours so my comment is assuming that the rumour is on the money.

word is we are after mclaren or tom juric

Only way we get Maclaren is a loan deal and that’s only if Hibs don’t sign him on a permanent deal from SV Darmstadt. He killed it over there at Hibs so I think they’re trying to get him on a permanent deal. I don’t know how Juric is going over in Luzern, but he seems to have his heart set on remaining in Europe. Would take something special to bring him home.

New rumour doing the rounds is that we are now losing both Adrian and Bobo. Adrian been offered a monster deal in China, even marquee wages won’t be enough to keep him around. Really hope not, would be a disaster if we lost both.

Leroy George apparently close to joining Sydney FC. A handy Adrian replacement would be an understatement. Would be a massive vet if he’s under the cap and a big old **** you to the Tards down south...........Take away our championship will ya hahahahaha.

Football Federation Australia is set to announce two new clubs to join the A-League on Thursday, with Macarthur-South West Sydney and Western Melbourne Group understood to have been granted licences.

Sources suggest Western Melbourne Group are set to enter the competition as early as next season after being granted an immediate A-League licence to become the 11th club, while the Macarthur-South West Sydney bid will likely enter a season later to make it a 12-team competition.

Interested to hear teh thoughts of those that watch A League more than me (which isn't much).

Three teams in both Melbourne and Sydney? Is that a smart move?
