shark3's ratings for Cronulla vs Easts (NRL Premiership, Round 23, 2010)

3 Points - Nathan Gardner: Played tough, smart footy. Getting better each week. Got smashed but got up each time. Godd to see him scoring more points too!
2 Points - Dean Collis: Deano's best defensive game in three years!! Four try saving tackles in first 23 minutes of the game. And another try - the kids are loving you ;) and the tab account is too mate! Keep up the top work Deano!!!
1 Point - Tim Smith: Great to see him back and talking a lot more and taking risks. Not all of them is going to come off, but keep trying! Outstanding pass to Collis - keep passing Smithy and he will be there on the other end, don't ever worry about that!

- Blake Ferguson: Passenger. At what point do we pull the plug here??
- Ben Pomeroy: Great intercept and try, but gee he is whoeful in defense :(
- Luke Covell: Good to see him back kicking and didn't play too badly. Still a heart attack out there with Pomeroy in defense.
- Trent Barrett: Ordinary tonight, is this the start of "old legs" Barrett?? Go out with Flair Trent, not just going through the motions. Take a chance and PASS to one of the backs, you may be suprised, but they will BE THERE to catch it mate!!
- Kade Snowden: Still a work in progress. Needs to find his CONTROLLED AGGRESSION. A bit hot and cold for mine.
- John Morris: OMGGGGG he is like the kiss of death for outside backs. One up, one up, one up. I was yelling out GET AITON ON!!! He does my head in.
- Luke Douglas: Solid quiet achiever. Showed a lot of determination and grit to make some good runs tonight.
- Taulima Tautai: Not a fan of him in the centres (even though it was an emergency)Much prefer him when he doesn't have to think and just go forward.
- Anthony Tupou: Thought he lifted against his old club. Still isn't at 100% for mine, but getting there.
- Paul Gallen: Played a much better TEAM game. Concentrated more on doing HIS job, rather than everybody elses. HOWEVER, the constant whinging and crying to the ref's is embarrassing. You are supposed to be one of the hard men of league Gal, take a leaf out of Gards book and just get up and play the freaking ball!!!!!
- Josh Cordoba: Was impressive especially in defense tonight.
- Broderick Wright: Needs to do more, more, more.
- Paul Aiton: Gee he lights up those around him on the field when he comes on. Is tough, a thinking and gets everybody MOVING FORWARD! (sorry Julia)
- Grant Millington: Much improved. Eveidence of some thinking going on there and working more with his fast men. Good game.

sharky7's ratings for Cronulla vs Easts (NRL Premiership, Round 23, 2010)

3 Points - Paul Gallen: 19 hit ups for 241 @ 12 mtr a run
work horse that we would be lost without him
2 Points - Nathan Gardner: Probably the toughest Cronulla fullback i've ever seen . Masoe put a big hit on him, as well as anasta and mini taking his legs out, and still gets up to play the ball
1 Point - Tim Smith: Played good by Tim's 2010 standards. Kicking game could still be improved tho

brently's ratings for Cronulla vs Easts (NRL Premiership, Round 23, 2010)

3 Points - Luke Douglas: Memo to all aspiring props: watch this man; do as he does. Just a fantastic effort all night I thought. (9/10)
2 Points - Nathan Gardner: Great stuff. I thought his involvement was spot on. Not overdoing it runnning onto inside balls etc but when he did it was generally effective. Committed effort. (8/10)
1 Point - Paul Gallen: Where would we be without him? Refused to retalliate despite being constantly provoked - a good sign for his return to the captaincy. BUT he must pick his battles with the refs; far too much arm waving for mine. (8/10)

- Blake Ferguson: Went ok I thought. Shame he is a dog. (7/10)
- Dean Collis: Good game in A and D. More please! (7/10)
- Ben Pomeroy: I think he is getting back to his best. He bounced off a couple of tackles but came back to put them down. Great intercept and looked good in open space (but most of us do I spoz...) (7/10)
- Luke Covell: Solid game with some good runs in the middle. A bit like the Cov of old - only older :) (7/10)
- Trent Barrett: A bit predictable with the dummy and run but a committed effort all game. (6/10)
- Tim Smith: For much of the first half I thought he was giving us little that SFP could not but then he lays on that crucial try and we are back in the game. Needs more confidence - he is more likely to make a line break than Baz, just needs to pick his moment and give it a lash. (7/10)
- Kade Snowden: Rugged effort. Would hate to be tackling him. (7/10)
- John Morris: Agggh. Is on the end of the quickest play the ball this year two metres out from the line, picks up the ball and kicks it one metre straight to a rooster. #&@$%@&*!! (5/10)
- Taulima Tautai: Looked slow. Hard to believe we had him in the centres. Tried hard though. (6/10)
- Anthony Tupou: High involvement rate in defence and did some nice things in attack. Hopefully getting back to his best. (7/10)
- Josh Cordoba: Getting good value from JC. Valuable bench player who - really - contributed as much as anyone to the win with some absolutely vital tackles. (7/10)
- Broderick Wright: Looks easy to tackle - goes to ground almost immediately upon being hit. Still, I thought he continued to show promise, getting involved in A and D. (6/10)
- Paul Aiton: A real goer, although not a lot of penetration in terms of dummy half scoots. JM's 5/10 looks generous now. (7/10)
- Grant Millington: Lazy effort contributed to roosters' revival but otherwise a good game. Like this guy's game - robust contributor across the night. (7/10)

IronShark's ratings for Cronulla vs Easts (NRL Premiership, Round 23, 2010)

3 Points - Nathan Gardner: Great game from the little bloke with the big heart. He is just in everything and keeps coming back, no matter how hard they hit him. I think they have transplanted some of Gal's heart into this kid! (9/10)
2 Points - Paul Gallen: Unbelievable what this bloke can do in eighty minutes of football. Did he seriously make 50 hit-ups? That's insane! (9/10)
1 Point - Anthony Tupou: Really good game from Toops, much better involvement in attack. Threw a great ball for Gards to score the matchwinner. (8/10)

- Blake Ferguson: Not enough involvement for his size. Showed some spark at times but goes missing too much. (5/10)
- Dean Collis: Scored a great try and was solid in defence. (7/10)
- Ben Pomeroy: Awesome intercept try, who said he can't catch?! Would have got my one point if he hadn't had to come of with injury. (7/10)
- Luke Covell: Covell was back to his form of old, great in the air, good defence, dependable kicking. Will be sad to see him go. (7/10)
- Trent Barrett: A solid, if unspectacular game. Needs to take more of the kicking responsibilities. Smith and Morris can't kick. (7/10)
- Tim Smith: A much better game, he still can't kick to save himself. When are we going to get a repeat set? Great pass to Collis though. Defence non-existant... (6/10)
- Kade Snowden: Our big boppers were dominant tonight against the Rorters and Kade especially looked damaging. (7/10)
- John Morris: Morris was dependable again, doesn't have the spark that Aiton adds. Shouldn't be allowed to kick...ever. (6/10)
- Luke Douglas: Great performance from Luke and Kade tonight, Dougies defence was rock solid. (7/10)
- Taulima Tautai: Didn't really notice him, so he can't have been too bad! (6/10)
- Josh Cordoba: Made some good metres tonight. He is a good bench prop. (7/10)
- Broderick Wright: Like Tautai, didn't really notice him to be good or bad... (6/10)
- Paul Aiton: Great energy when on the field, inspired some good attacking raids which were unlucky to break down on the last pass. (8/10)
- Grant Millington: Missed a tackle that led to Ray Canasta scoring a soft try but other than that, had a very good game, IMO. Made some good metres with his hit-ups. Even threw a dummy and went up the blind side on one occasion. Could be the NRL's biggest hooker!? (7/10)
