Couple of loose carries and some bad defensive plays I thought but I'd call this a game with some hiccups for a rookie, not a bad game

Yea I relise that mate but I wanted to hear it from him because calling that Iro's worst game was quite the take and I initially took it for sacarsm and there have been some other strange posts putting Iro down in the last few days.

That was possibly his best game thus far and I had him as one of our best on the day

Worked his backside off, heaps of metres and carries, is starting to break the line with power and footwork. His defense is arguably better than Sifa's in the backline.

He's a couple games into his FG career and IMO has been doing an outstanding job of it - really impressive to settle in and contribute in a significant way so quickly.

Every player has a fumble now and then in the PTB or general play, the one that was intentionally knocked out by Hunt was kinda unlucky but it was after a fantastic break that got us further up field. With experience the ball security and general polish will improve.

He's a regular FG starter in the 17 each week now for mine - swapping him in with Sifa to the bench was something Fitz looks to have got right. It's not like Ronaldos try's have dried up with Iro his centre.

How did I get a lecture for agreeing with you?
It's not uncommon to find yourself in a situation where agreeing with someone unexpectedly leads to receiving a lecture. Sometimes, this occurs because the person delivering the lecture may have misunderstood your agreement as passive acceptance without critical thought. They might assume you're simply going along with the consensus without fully grasping the nuances of the topic at hand.

In some cases, the lecturer might feel the need to justify their stance or delve deeper into the subject matter, assuming that your agreement indicates a shared interest in exploring the topic further. Alternatively, they might see it as an opportunity to educate and provide additional context or information that they believe you might not be aware of.

It's important to remember that receiving a lecture in such situations doesn't necessarily mean that your agreement was unwelcome or invalid. Rather, it could be a sign that the other person is passionate about the topic and eager to share their knowledge or perspective. In these instances, it can be helpful to actively engage in the conversation, asking questions and expressing your own thoughts to ensure that both parties benefit from the exchange.
