2026 State of Origin Discussion.

Did I see correctly something yesterday about Madge coming into NSW camp to speak with the players? I’d love to know whose idea that was and how it came up.

Is Laurie sitting in an imaginary chair, with an imaginary clipboard imagining he’s giving his best coaching performance of his life all while Madge pops in on his lunch break for a quick word with the boys?
 
I’m from NSW and I love my Origin, and I’ll be at Suncorp tonight. I always enjoy the game, but I’ve long since cared about the result. But you know what, I’m sick of the Laurie pile on. I hope he gets the win, then sails into the sunset.

I get that they bring all sorts of people into camp, but they are usually Origin legends from a while ago. Madge was coach of NSW one year until something better came up. Someone must’ve sarcastically said “can we get Madge back” someone else thought “that’s a ****ing brilliant idea!”
 
QLD might be fired up for Grant, also playing for Jai Arrow. Not saying it'll be an easy win, Blues have got a much better team then 2nd game.
 
They just said on the radio that due to the Telstra outages today, they are using the back up bunker!

Gee wiz, the first grade bunker is terrible, can't imagine how bad the reserve grade bunker will be!
