2026 State of Origin Discussion.

Strange has rolled his ankle
Decision and outcome pending

Has real 'pull Hynes from playing for Cronulla then play him briefly out of position and blame him for loss' vibes
Definitely. Except everyone seems to like Strange

Yeah it was just a joke about origin ****ing us, I don’t actually think it is a chance of happening

If strange is out burton probably just goes in. He’s on a bye anyway
They were joking on the Matty Johns show before origin 1 about Burton being the richest guy to never play a game. Gets the $30k or whatever every time but is yet to play a minute of origin.

He has played a few games!
Got binned for punching on with Gagai if I recall correctly. And maybe another 1 or 2 games besides that one?

But a regular paid bench warmer

Bloke who’s not even good enough to be a half in his nrl team called in to be back up half. Rate it Laurie
Picking or playing a player in the halves who doesn’t play there week to week is one of their favourite things to do. They’ve done it for as long as I can remember.

Daley himself was picked at 6 in 1990 when Chris O’Sullivan was the starting 6 at the Raiders .

Filtrler, Dymock, Timmins, Lyon, Moylan, G.Bird, Gasnier to name a few. Also Barrett at 7, Jack Bird from the bench, Wade covering for injury.

They’re not alone in this thinking though. It’s fairly prevalent across the game at all levels. E.g. Grantham.

I'm assuming the reason FIFA didn't schedule any matches for tomorrow was time to give the world a chance to get over and reflect on SOO III.

Also gives Donald Trump time to legislate tariffs for importation of Belgium chocolate!
