2026 Sharks Discussion

They are probably just searching for the right candidate. I'm not too sure how many assistants are out there looking for a job. I just hope the club is through with their process and chooses the right person.

I suggest Wiz for halves coach if it hasn't been proposed already.

It's interesting this while 1 Nov fiasco. I don't believe clubs stress over this 'deadline' as much as the media/ fans do.

If Jesse left before we start in 2026, I'd have the following backline:

Kennedy
Katoa
Gabriel
Iro
Stonestreet
Trindall
Hynes

I would be so suprised if we saw Nikora anywhere else beside backrower in the starting side. This notion of him playing centre is getting more ridiculous every day.
Would you say Gabriel is ready to own that centre spot? I don't have a strong opinion as his stint in first grade is all I've seen of him. He looked promising but physically perhaps still a year off

he's definately capable, but its a big ask to play 25+ nrl games off the bat, especially if its in ramiens jersey

Not sure who you mean mate, Gabrael has not yet debuted in first grade.

I see. In my opinion Gabrael is streets ahead of Vea’ila. I honestly thought Fitz wanted to debut him but the right moment didn’t present itself like it did for CV.
CV had also been biding his time longer and deserved a chance. So given it was his preferred side it made sense.

I do think we'll see Gabrael force his way in sooner rather than later.
