Agreed. Loved it out there today!

My only gripe was going for a Pepsi Max at halftime, queued up only to be told when I got to the cashier that the bloke in front of me bought the last two Pepsi Max’s. How the **** does that happen???

So I went downstairs and queued up again only for the line to go at a snail’s pace and with five people still in front of me, I heard the players coming out of the tunnel. So I left without getting a drink. 😡😡😡

I've seen 2 explanations mentionned. Shoulder to the head and failing his duty of care which didn't make a lot of sense to me based on the footage available.

Duty of care is a cop out. You could argue every tackle where a head is touched is a failure of duty of care.

That binning was a horrible call and if the game wants to go down that path for “player safety” they will lose fans

I saw it on the mini and they did say shoulder so that was clearly a significant factor in the decision.

It was a bit of an anti climax at the game, after Wighton went down injured it seemed an age before the ref spoke to Wilton and binned him. We couldn't hear of course so I assumed he had got him in the head. When I watched the replay later and saw it was a head clash, it was a totally horrible call.

I'm not sure of the process or if one exists or not, but I hope we are making some waves about that decision and trying to find out more on how they came to that decision.

While I am on it, and I am not a big slammer of referees or touchies, but the amount of forward passes they missed out there was just ludicrous. I understand the game is fast and having a degree in physics sometimes helps, but two of their tries should not have been awarded due to forward passes. I do think also one of ours was from a forward pass. If I can see them (my wife did too!) from up in our vantage point, it absolutely floors me why the officials can't see it.

@bort , I was at the express line at the back of the ET stand when I first lined up and I could see the couple in front of me order their Pepsi Max's and I thought, "Great! They have them." Normally they only have beer and water. I do feel sorry now for the girl who served me because I gave her a real filthy look when she told me. And I am not sure who Steve is in your post, can you enlighten me?

Surely they have more than enough stock of soft drink though, not like it goes off quick.
You'd think someone could have run another carton up when it got down to half a dozen, or whatever.

Some combination of the below it seems:
- Injured players
- Ref calls
- Us having a soft draw/being pretenders/only playing injured teams.

I always find it kinda rich when Souths fans give us **** about bowing out of finals without winning given their record during the 18-22 seasons.
 
I enjoyed another day out at Shark Park, weather was great and watched a good game of footy but the place is still run like it was 20 years ago (other than having tickets on your phone).

Running out of something simple like soft drink is embarrassing - especially with the price you pay for it at least have some nice cold ones there waiting for the fans & members and some extra stock out the back

The beer lines are still as ****ed as always, I get there were 14k fans there yesterday but they ain't all lining up at the same time for a beer.

The line wasn't as bad at half time but still cut it fine getting back to me seat. Maybe they need a system when you can pre-pay for drinks or whatever and pick them up from a different stall

Club must miss out on revenue cause fans cbf lining up and don't wanna miss the game

I found one small vendor with only a few people lining up, managed to get an iced tea from there so that was nice but yea if you want alcohol good luck with that

It's worth mentioning what a joke the "security" at the stairs in front of the seated stands is. They don't know where your bay/seats are and half the time they don't even check your ticket. I could have just bought a GA ticket for half the price and gone and sat wherever I want, no one would know.

I get they are external contract hires and not Sharks staff but still give them some training and oversight because it impacts the fan experience and reflects poorly on the club. They don't even know stuff like where the closest amenities/toilets are. Are they not given a fkn basic stadium map layout?

I'm kinda used to this at this point but back in the day we had actual Sharks staff around the stands to help, if I were a first time attending fan I wouldn't be impressed with the game day experience beyond the atmosphere (which was decent for a change) and the actual footy (which tbf are the main reasons I am there) but when you factor in the **** fight for parking you can understand why fans just stay at home and watch it on Fox.

Spent all this cash on the development (i get it's still in progress) but still can't get the basics right
