Full declaration, this is here say & it was on FB of all places but apparently Fitz is still throwing up the reason why we are clunky is because Nicho & Tricky are still working on their combo together?
If that’s true, FFS, that’s pretty lame, surely the amount of games, training reps they’ve done together has them at a level where that shouldn’t tossed up as a reaso?

Look at Warriors this season alone with their halves.

Dan said it on Zero Tackle, Fitz didn't throw it up.
They are still working on their combo, they will keep working on it for years, especially as players and rules change around them. The Warriors halves also train.
If there is an issue with their partnership I think @puma1355 's theory holds just as much weight, that Trindall is a petulant sook who won't play well with others and we should move on from him.

Fitz was asked about the halves, he said (paraphrased) - I thought they were alright, what do you want them to do, we didn't have many sets on the try line. Don't think they kicked that well, but we didn't get on the front foot enough for them to shine. Thought they were alright with limited opportunities.

Doesn't mention anything about still working on the combination. Don't believe everything you read.

Fitz was asked in an interview before the Roosters game about the “Tricky is the halfback” thing. The journo said that Luke Keary mentioned it on his podcast.

Fitz’s response was “Luke Keary eh? Doesn’t he work for the Roosters? Who we are playing this week?”

He then gave a serious response. He said he thinks they are combination that works, they’ve had some good results but always room for improvement.

He’s answered and shut down the “Triicky is the seven” thing so many times from journos now that it shouldn’t even be question any more… but here we are.

A concept that randomly has people seething.

Lucky he's bald, as if he said it then touched his hair that might have been too much for Dan

Karapani won't be playing
Has been stood down for his second driving offence with Brisbane
Was previously released by Rabbitohs for repeatedly showing up to training drunk

Not sure if mentioned but Willison should be out? Pretty sure he's a cat 1.

The Wahs discipline is so perfect, it'll be put on display at the NRL headquarters at the end of the season.

Of course, ours will give a new and powerful argument to the crowd who wants us to relocate.

The difference is staggering. However looking at the stat and the ladder, good discipline is no guarantee to do well ladder wise.
