It's like they expected us to have more origin players. Some big Nicho fans at the NRL
 
I reckon we lose this one before going on a decent (4 or 5 games) winning streak in a sort of backs-against-the-wall reaction.
How we negotiate the rest of August will decide where how we fare on the ladder.
Given our form so far, I believe we'll end up with 14/15 wins.
 
If we lose this Fitz & players will say we come out & were flat after the bye,
yet when when lose to a team coming off the bye, it’ll be because the other team had more energy as they were fresh from the bye.

No Walsh, no Haas, no Carrigan. They have been shocking all year too. I wish Staggs got picked just so he missed this one. Iro will need to be on one to shut down his point to prove.

We're missing a few too, but there should be no excuses. We need to get up there and roll them. Sharks by 40.

Yeah unfortunately it's not a one off, seems to happen too often.

Our next 5 games are

Brisbane
Dolphins
Knights
Manly
Souths

This game is so important given the following four are against direct competitors for top 4/8 spots.

I don't think we were that bad. A few bounces of the ball/calls away from that game being very different. We weren't the better team, but we weren't that far off. The previous Roosters game was far worse.

Not to mention, during the next 5 weeks the following matches occur.

Knights v Phins
Panthers v Souths
Knights v Souths
Cows v Manly
Cows v Phins
Knights v Roosters
Cows v Roosters.

It's going to be a really informative period for us, Knights and Cows in regard to premiership ambitions. You'd have to expect in 5 weeks it won't be anywhere near as tight as it is now. Win another 4/5 and we should be safely entrenched in the top 4.

Haha that certainly wasn't intended to say we will win 4/5, more that if we do that would be the result. It's nice to know it's in our hands.

If we lose 3/4 across that period the season will be as good as done. If we can't show ourselves as a level above the teams in the next 5 rounds we'll be cannon fodder come the pointy end.
 
Full declaration, this is here say & it was on FB of all places but apparently Fitz is still throwing up the reason why we are clunky is because Nicho & Tricky are still working on their combo together?
If that’s true, FFS, that’s pretty lame, surely the amount of games, training reps they’ve done together has them at a level where that shouldn’t tossed up as a reaso?

Look at Warriors this season alone with their halves.

Was there a direct quote from Fitz on this? I would say it is bullshit, if you remember earlier in the year, he said he was getting tired of waiting for it to click so I doubt he's using that excuse.
