Bit of a danger game here but we're kidding ourselves if we can't beat a team comfortably who have won one game in 300 days or whatever it is.
They haven't lost a game in over a week though.

This has been a trend under Fitz for the past 4 years.Every time I've looked at the draw + ladder over the past few years and thought that, we lose what should have been an easy win.
Are you implying @sharkfan is Fitz???This has been a trend under Fitz for the past 4 years.

Pretty much story of Sharks life! This has been a trend under Fitz for the past 4 years.
Just add a column and sort by win% like so many other sports. It's so easy that it's infuriating. The NRL ladder is so dumb. Needs to be sorted by wins rather than points. Cowboys sitting in 9th but have more wins than 3rd. Storm sitting in 13th with one less win than 6th.
At least the Dargons are where they belong.
Even just making wins/byes the tie-breaker rather than f/a being first would be a good step.Just add a column and sort by win% like so many other sports. It's so easy that it's infuriating.
Yeah that would be better than current for sure. Win/Points% just accounts for everything and is already utilised in heaps of sports with inconsistent games played for that reason. I don't see any issues with it.Even just making wins/byes the tie-breaker rather than f/a being first would be a good step.
Team A has 16 points but 4 from byes. Team B has 16 but but only 2 from byes.
Team B should be ahead regardless of f/a.
Points % would work too.
If this week is anything to go by we'll have a few players backing up after two days and need another hooker... I'm confident it'll be differentIf last week is anything to go off then May is right. Ball struggled to get past our back rowers.
I think it's SS's to lose. With Katoa set to be available for this game. Does he come straight back in for Stonestreet or miss out to play NSW cup?
Seeing as Katoa is leaving next season, I would put him back in NSW cup and if SS's form drops only then swap them around.I think it's SS's to lose.
Unless Fitz feels he needs a freshen up.
I think he'd play NSW Cup again, given he was dropped for the game where he got hurt. With Katoa set to be available for this game. Does he come straight back in for Stonestreet or miss out to play NSW cup?
That shouldn't come into it, you pick the best player for the job. I'd also stick with SS.Seeing as Katoa is leaving next season, I would put him back in NSW cup and if SS's form drops only then swap them around.

Yeah I agree with HB here. Players signing elsewhere is part of the game these days. They don't need to be punished for it. Pick the better player. That shouldn't come into it, you pick the best player for the job. I'd also stick with SS.
I don’t think there was an implication of punishment necessarilyYeah I agree with HB here. Players signing elsewhere is part of the game these days. They don't need to be punished for it. Pick the better player.
Maybe Katoa gets a week in cup either way. Wouldn't be a bad thing. Original injury was 2 months ago now.
I mean dropping them in spite of form or history. It happens.I don’t think there was an implication of punishment necessarily
Yeah agree.Let the returning player go to cup and then have form dictate
Unless something like Katoa is already looking better at training than SS in which case his seniority + that I’d back him in
