He should have just played there without an issue, maybe had a chat about it after they got towelled if anything.
But plenty of the playing group would be mates with him and can imagine a world where they are more pissed at Benji 'dumping' Adam, contributing to their trashing, than Adam deciding not to play if not his preferred position

I think Adam is a little bit different...always has been. And I wouldn't be surprised if this actually turns out better for both of them and the club. He just might have had the come to Jesus moment he's needed for a while.

Honestly, who else would put up with his ****?

I mean, he hasn't created heaps of **** over a career. Really just this, and seemingly other instances of the same issue.
While I don't support him in having his stance of 6 or 7 only, I do think Tigers accepted it when they extended him when it was a known thing.
So they ****ed up by not communicating the change to him well enough for him to agree to it - something he has done in the past.

From what we see of the tigers, maybe Adam realised the club and team are the main thing and he should do what is best for them, whether he agrees with it or not.
Just as likely Benji humbled himself and apologised for moving him - with his hand being forced a bit by the fact that in hindsight it does look like it was the wrong call anyway.

Wouldn't put it past the tigers for that to be the case.

Yeah not significant if I'm reading the top section correctly. Basically says that over 17 seasons the Sharks have played teams 1/6 of a ladder position below neutral and the Roosters have played teams 1/4 of a ladder position above neutral. If I am the NRL and aspiring to as neutral a draw as possible that is an amazing result.

The tiny difference could probably be explained by the Sharks being guaranteed 2 games every season against Dargons... and them being pretty crap much of that time. Same for Manly in more recent years.

We should remind the NRL of our intense rivalries and local derbys against the Titans, Eels and Tigers and that the Sharks and Panthers have nothing in common historically

Yeah I was pretty impressed with the small spread. Between the local derbies, and locked in 'block buster' matchups between big clubs it's pretty easily explained.
 
Just out of interest anyone, say we stay in the top 4, I think we will, we'd still have to play either Roosters or Penrith who will be difficult to beat, Warriors aswell but they are beatable by us. Anyway back to my point, does anyone think the premiership, say we make it, will be decided already before the game starts like the inconsistency is now or will it be just a fair, even match haha?
 
Roosters may have flogged Cowboys last week but they've still struggled against other teams & Cowboys were just absolutely terrible. Penrith have been beaten by Titans & Broncos, shows every other top 4 teams are beatable.
