Depending on who backs up or whatever i dunno how this will go.

With origin being a Perth game that added travel may mean players are rested (carrigan/haas) so not sure what to expect.

We need to win the yardage game if we want to win. Its the ONLY way we win, its the only way our halves can create anything
 
We seem to play the Broncos after origin a bit lately. Typically they don’t rest players

Given it's a 5-day turnaround from Origin and the position they are in, needing wins, I expect Haas/Carrigan to play, assuming there are no injuries.
 
Even at this early stage, I'll have a go at naming a team.

I like it. I'd start BHU or Rudolf though.

I think we'll see Kaufusi starting and Atkinson on the bench over Puru.

Yeah mate you are probably right about Kaufusi and Puru, just wishful thinking on my part.

Just not sure if BHU or Rudolf are great to start at the moment but I'd be happy if Fitz made either call.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing BHU start over Kaufusi for a few games like he use to, usually starts rather strong when he does. Fitzzy will probably just start Kaufusi though, he's not a coach who generally changes player around, new players debut's for droppings etc.

Yeah dont mind it, similar to when he was starting Tom for a few games, mixes things up a bit and keeps them motivated

I thought BHU probably played his best for us those years ago when he was a regular starter for us, brought on strong impact straight away in general usually. AFB is probably that player now & he maybe Fitz is saving his impact for when AFB is rested, I wouldn't be suprised if that is the case. Kaufusi looks a lot smaller so it wouldn't be as much impact as Hazo or BHU would provide. A shame to see Hazo injured though.
 
Talakai in the centres is a huge concern but likely our only option.

Would love if our coach showed some balls here and made some calls on the players out of form.

is tobes up for the fight to start? hasn't got games under his belt. yeah maybe BHU. although tobes is experienced enough and it depends on how he is used alongside AFB. lean more towards BHU to start :unsure:


want an 80-minute performance from our guys! our 2nd half was great, keep that going

Toby played a game earlier this season starting beside AFB. Was his best game for us in ages, then he got injured.
 
As much as I'd love to see Gabrael or Vea'ila get a debut, Staggs ain't the man I want introducing them to first grade.

I'd almost be tempted to move Jesse their regardless of who we name to partner him.

Bonus idea; if we move him to the left Ronnie can heckle him back into form. Usually works for the opposition
