Both probably see more of an opportunity there.

Personally, would see if Peters wants a year or 2 as AC before he inevitably gets a gig
100%. There's more to it than what we see on the surface. There's no question in the world our club is better placed in just about every way possible compared to those two clubs.

Which were?
Ennis, McDermott &

Either way not a good look for the club when we moss out on targets to Dragons & Titans
That’s if you believe Dino shares legitimate information to fans. Not saying @Gumby wasn’t told what he says he was, just saying maybe he was told porkies.

Our club has been watertight for at least as long as Fitz has been here if not longer. That just does not happen if our CEO is telling that sort of thing to fans.

Another scenario: Dino is Gumby, Gumby is Dino , ?

Why are you assuming we’re even targeting them ?

Holdsworth is getting the AC gig. He always was and was next in line. Fitz knew Hannay was going to get picked up eventually and the transition plan has been in place.

Don’t see much value of getting an AC for just a year because you just have to start again and don’t see Peters being some savant assistant coach that revolutionises the game.

If he commits for a few years sure but is he better off with HC experience in Super League longer?

When Fitz took over it felt to me that we only ended up with so many assistant coaches because Hannay had been acting coach, so it was best to keep him.

I think from a continuity point of view it made sense but he’s obviously a very good assistant coach too

Most clubs have atleast 2 assistants so can’t see that changing

Not a chance of that happening, hes not gonna leave the treble winning team to return as assistant here
He'll step into a coaching role when he returns

So, that's still 3.

How many did we have previous to Fitz?

Interpret it however you want I guess. The attack and defence assistants sit in the box with the coach. Holdsworth runs around on the field in the role he’s had since I think 2019.

Hard to know tbh. Ennis has a great relationship with Flanno so that doesn't surprise me. We also have no idea what money is being offered by each club, which would no doubt play a big part. Bigger clubs have more to play with here, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Titans were more prepared to spend up on ACs to support an incoming rookie coach.
