I thought Penrith were there to be beaten last night, where as no one was beating Melb their last two games.

It all depends whether Melb can play 3 perfect games in a row.

I'm tipping Melbourne.

they definitely were;
at times it looked like they were struggling. the sudden downfall may have affected them, who knows.

I thought our forwards aimed up;
instead of being dominated like back at shark park - we were bending them

I'd have to say melbourne; I think they can produce any high performance - they seem to be in a groove;
penrith despite that phenomenal roosters final - they have been vulnerable in the lead in to the finals even though they won most of those games.

Don’t know if this has been discussed yet. Apologies if it has:

Dally M nominations are in.
Ramien’s up for Centre
Brailey’s up for hooker
Iro’s up for Rookie

No Nikora in the second row category is maddening to me.

Ridiculous. Easily above Kikau, Sua and Young imo

And Hammer a nominee for fullback of the year? he was dropped from that position by the end of the season haha
NRL shade at Ponga?

Hunt a nominee for halfback - his club had to address his poor form and looking at parting ways.

Who wins the final, Penrith or Storm?

It should be a cracker. Storm have been the best side all season but Penrith are clutch.

Last team to beat Penrith in the big dance was Storm.

My bet is with Penrith, I think their defence will be the difference. But there won’t be much in it, that’s for sure
I’m hoping for a good game and don’t care who wins

Absolute joke he’s not in there. He’s the second best backrower in the game imp behind Crichton.

Plenty of halves had better seasons than him, although with a bit of credit to games played he goes way up the list.

Probably speaks more to how unlucky many of the other NRL halfbacks were this year with injury than anything.
Other than 'kick for Lomax' Hunt was pretty average, although the best ability sometimes is availability.

Luai played more better games of halfback than Hunt did.

Surprised SJ didn't sneak in there as a farewell given how much everyone frothed over his last game.

Yeah fair call. Honesty I don’t really watch any games sharks aren’t playing, not entirely anyway.

Do you think it’s interesting Crichton got named when he was rumoured to being shipped out also, just like hunt

Ridiculous he wasn't even named in the category.

Angus? He started season in cup but quickly became the consensus best backrower of the year playing deep into finals. That's very different to a Hunt

Yep, like I said, I don’t watch other games, so rely on what I hear on the radio etc.

So starting in cup, why was that? Form or coming back from injury?
