Alan Wilson and Michael Speechley - two of my favourite players of that era.

If Hannay gets the Brisbane gig do we just promote the Jets coach? They're doing well enough to make you think he has something to offer.

Or swap for Kevvie...

Broncos need a heavy weight coach.

Hannay would get eaten up alive - and I don't meant that as a disrespect to Hannay.

They need a seasoned NRL coach that has enough clout to stand up to the juggernaut begund the scenes.

I can't any current available coaches but Madge being successful. Though apparently the Broncos heavy weights don't want someone from NSW.

Yep, someone who can the the blow torch that place puts on you. Maybe Slater?

Still, let's say Hannay did get the gig (or someone elses when they respectfully and mutually part ways years before their contract ends) ?

Slater has never coached at NRL level. Would be a lot of pressure on him.

Anyway, he has the Qld role and Ch9 gig - he would be mad to give that up for 20 hour a day job (or 8 if you're Benji Marshall)

Who wins the final, Penrith or Storm?

It should be a cracker. Storm have been the best side all season but Penrith are clutch.

Last team to beat Penrith in the big dance was Storm.

My bet is with Penrith, I think their defence will be the difference. But there won’t be much in it, that’s for sure

Hopefully a cracker and not a wrestle-a-thon

Penrith had to get aggressive with their attack to beat the dynamic 2023 Broncos but Storm are much more controlled and better defenders.

Not 100% sure who I think the less or two evils is tbh

Yeah I’m inclined to root for Storm more because I prefer Bellamy to Ivan.

That said, may the best team win. I think Penrith are the better defensive team, and have the best player in the game - which is why I’m going to go with them for a tight victory.

NAS will be a big loss for storm

I’m thinking Storm, Penrith don’t seem as invincible

Penrith will have to play a bit better than they did tonight, they made a lot of errors against us. Storm will punish them for those.

But they just seem to step up and get it done on the big stage. Looking forward to it!

I can't see Penrith beating Storm.

Storm are just on fire and are so good at controlling the game. I wouldn't be surprised if Storm display a very dominant performance next week.
