Billionaire Roosters chairman Nick Politis is leading the charge on the back of interest created from the Las Vegas double-header in March in a revolutionary initiative he hopes will provide the first proper pathway for gridiron players into the NRL.

Under the plan a Roosters West Coast Rugby League Academy will be established alongside a team to be known as the LA Roosters to compete in a six-team competition in California.

Their $500,000 comes from the Roosters Foundation, the club’s fundraising arm that is dedicated towards young player development in junior academies and pathways.

My understanding is his conviction will be thrown out. No idea if he can sue for compensation from the courts.

I doubt he'll be able to sue the complainant, as it would have to be for defamation. We've seen how that's worked out for Bruce Lehrman.

Lucky club said him and May weren’t naughty on camera recently or they might have had to sack them.

reports have emerged on Wednesday that Perth are set to get the nod ahead of them with the Newtown Jets sneaking under the guard of fellow foundation club North Sydney to form a united bid with the Western Australian consortium.

That’s one way to get Shark affiliated games over here!

I assume then that the Sharks/Jets partnership will come to an end for this to happen (when the time comes)
