if we are moving sifa then blow the entire side up and go ronnie at centre and stonestreet on the wing
Wouldnt mind seeing Stonestreet on the right wing to be honest, Katoa needs to step up. Ramien needs a rocket also🚀

He's a good centre, but i think he goes next level in his game playing backrow and being involved more. He got picked for the blues not because he's a centre, they wanted to use him as an attacking weapon in the forwards.

Wilton is going good, but Talakai running those lines is more of a threat, harder to stop or put down, can pass or offload and draws in more defenders. Our bench of middles are not fit or big minute players, someone
like Wilton with Mcinnis coming on, are more mobile and can do more work in the middle. We have Kaufusi who hasnt played big minutes, Hunt Uele Williams all coming back from injuries who cant play big minutes, and then Wade will return from suspension. Half our forward pack isnt fit, cant fill the bench with them
Feels very hopeful to me. I'd have said centre was exactly what got Talakai picked for SOO, but to play OOP for some very short term impact, with capacity to cover backs.

Our bench doesn't need to be big minute players, we are under utilising middles as it is. Williams just got 12 minutes. He can definitely play more than that. I don't see the benefit of making our centre worse to give Wilton 12 minutes in the middle instead of Williams or Graham.

nikora is on the other side of the field
Funny how every try that goes through Moylan he's nowhere to be seen. Yet we have given him consistent 321 votes smh

Sure Talakai could’ve helped Moylan for that try on the weekend but realistically if Moylan can’t handle one on one contact on the line we are fkd ! It’s been more than a couple times this year in just 3 rounds

That also means Nikora and Sifa will have two jobs to do (cover Moylan and their role)
Genuine question - what half/ves do you think save that try? And which hookers stop Corey?

josh pap back for them, we win this by a margin though
I forgot about this...
"Missing were Josh Papali'i, Xavier Savage and wingers Nick Cotric and Jordan Rapana, the Raiders lost hooker Danny Levi to a suspected broken jaw just minutes into the clash with the Sharks".

(not a response to anything here Snowy, just popping it on your first post for this thread)

They dont have to play big minutes in the game, but majority of the forwards fitness levels should be up there to be able to, especially when there's continuous errors, poor plays and penalties in our game. Fitz giving shorter stints to players who have returned from injuries. My point is there's too many forwards in the 17 that are finding their fitness again at the moment, atleast drop one from the bench, and put someone fitter. You can give more minutes to Wilton than the guy he subs off. Our middle keeps getting owned.
Starters: Kaufusi, Rudolf, Finucane.
Bench: Mcinnis, Wilton, Hunt, Uele.
Reserves: Graham and Williams

Who misses out when graham is available and theres no injuries?

Getting sick of Katoa getting beaten on his outside when we're defending our line. Their first was a shocking bit of defending

Defend Moylan on the wing Jamie Soward style
Ronnie pushes in to defend @ centre and Talakai pushes in to defend in second row or middle - next to Wilton either way

Moylan doesn't need to take the first hit up or organise the first dummy half pass from the ruck - he has time to get back in position when we get the ball

Do whatever Roosters did to hide Cronk in the GF
That was an absolute masterclass in positioning. One of the best individual grand final performances you'll see and it was how to not be involved.
I'm not even being that sarcastic haha, it takes some real game awareness and league smarts to dodge having to defend that hard.
The only more impressive efforts you'd see is Woods leaping out of the way

Moylan ain't no Cronk.

If Moylan needs to be shifted to a wing in defence he shouldn't be in the team.

Soward defended there and that team won a comp

Or alternatively he is dropped altogether

Or we keep complaining about how he can't defend in the halves and Talakai can't defend in the centres

Ideally Fitz & staff do their job - he said he would get it sorted after the Parra game... or was that Souths game? We have been defensively feeble for so long now I can't remember when the coach started talking about needing to talk about it

Moylan defended on the wing for the odd play on the weekend already.
