Shouldn't be playing games before 6pm for the first 3-4 rounds.
My team played at 2:15pm yesterday. 38 degrees. They allowed a 2 minute drinks break in each half but they wouldn't let the players walk off the field to stand in the shade (about 5m away).

One of my players also got German Suplex'd. Could have broken his neck. Penalty only.

Things could always be worse.

Imagine finishing the previous season last and yet your team is doing worse the following year hahaha.

Moses fined for pulling hair but predictably no charge for anything that happened to Hunt (although at least they haven’t fined him)

Talk of scrapping the current development player system and giving clubs 8 slots for players who are available from round 1.
Suggested they will still sit outside the main squad, with a top 30 remaining in place.
Not too sure what the difference then is from it being a top 38. Perhaps just from a wage structuring perspective.

That is effectively just reverting to “tier 2 cap”.

Dev system was a replacement for the old tier 2 cap, which was $300k. The old system was that you could have as many guys as you like, but they all have to be earning less than player #30, and as soon as they play one game their full payments for the year count against the tier 2 cap.

They found under the old system that teams with lots of injuries were getting in situations where they couldn’t select tier 2 guys because it would take them over the $300k cap.

Having players 31-38 under the “tier 2 cap” but not effecting the main cap would basically be the old system with the bugs fixed.

Has anyone noticed how hard it is to beat charges at the judiciary or get downgrades lately ?

Probably because multiple ex players have been replaced on the panel by just one former player / accompanied by Detective Chief Inspector and former ref Paul Simpkins ..
