Aaaaaaah , apologies the fella that told me about this is quite connected .
BUT, might have had that fed to him via someone else reading whatsapp
In your rumour did the other players surname start with S that was with him ?
Any chance of truth , just seems weird Crichton played so long without this being an issue before ?
Other player in Amsterdam with him started with S in what I saw.

Funny now Jaz says Cook, pretty sure what I saw said Walker. Lot of different versions of these stories

I heard the same rumour except that he asked about Damien Cook.

Doesn't add up IMO. Why would he turn up at Bondi in Roosters gear if he thought he still played for the Bunnies?
Presumably would have to dig through quite a bit of roosters gear to pull out some bunnies stuff too

Ex-Shark Ryan Rivett making debut for Knights off the bench.
Beat me to it.

Congratulations to him.

It’s a former Burleigh Bears double debut. Tuaupiki named at fullback for the Warriors.

Is he gunna lock it down and score a truck load of points if I try grab him in draft....

Surely Metcalf would have been 2nd pick there if he wasn't injured. I don't know anything about Tuaupiki though.

Maybe. He’s pretty good on a kick return. Good at supporting through the middle too.

Tuaupiki was PotY in Q Cup last year. Good player. Small though.

Probably behind Metcalf in the pecking order, but that could change with a good performance.

Yeah I'd have thought so

Good I have one draft desperate for a fullback better than Staines. I'll try get this guy or Chester for a run even if just for a couple weeks haha

Reece Walsh was a good add for me last week ;)

Only 4 teams in my draft though. The other 3 overlooked him because he was injured in week 1.

4 team draft your team must be stacked!

Think my least is 10

I did 5 drafts and got Hopgood in 4 so I don’t hate that

Yeah - just 2 dads and 2 sons. First time doing a draft so still figuring it all out.

The dads are kicking ass so far.

Unfortunately , bi-polar ( mentioned
in article ) allegedly brought on after consuming mushies in Bali with another team mate .
The Mushies part has not been reported ( and not necessarily bi-polar )

That mushroom part doesn’t surprise me. I actually wondered what had brought on his episode on and thought he must have had an adverse reaction to some drug.

NRL players will be mandated to miss two rounds of football if they are found to have suffered a concussion.

That’s the headline detail on a sudden policy change announced by the NRL on Wednesday.

The league is facing its most significant shake-up to concussion protocols in years — coming one day after the AFL was rocked by a landmark class action lawsuit.

That's fine but they're going to have to increase squad sizes and the cap.

This brings it closer to being in line with non-professional leagues. Not 2 rounds necessarily. 14 full days of recovery.

NRL is saying 11 day mandatory stand-down period, which is very close (non-NRL it is 14 days).

The only players missing 2 rounds automatically would be those concussed on a Sunday whose team plays a Thursday game in two weeks.

***
Outside of the NRL... if you get a concussion on Friday 1st you would be out until Sunday 16th - because Saturday 15th would be your final "full day" of recovery. The day of the concussion does not count.

* I had this exact conversation about one of my players yesterday. Player concussed on a Saturday, needs two weeks, should be right for a Sunday game, right? Nope - that Sunday is his 14th recovery day. He's no good until the Monday.

My immediate thought too, either go to squad of 32, or at least expand the 'tier 2' options and make it easier to select these guys.
(well, maybe doesn't have to be easier to select them necessarily)
