SOO without the best forwards (PI's) is 2nd rate
The situation keeping JT3 out of origin is just silly. He qualified for Qld, Aus, NZ, and chose NZ prior to Tonga being an option. His decision to play for NZ pre-dates the introduction of the tiering system.

I’m sure if JT3 had been given the option of playing for Qld + Tonga, or only NZ, he would have chosen differently. Now he is being punished for not choosing an option that was never available to him.

They should have just given everyone a blank slate the day that rule was introduced.

It probably also highlights the importance of what Andrew Fifita did in starting the movement and ultimately getting the rules changed.

"The domestic rugby league season in Greece – the first since the sport gained official government recognition in the country – begins on Sunday, on the back of the men’s national side making their debut in the recent World Cup, and the women’s having won the inaugural Euro B South competition.

Nine men’s teams are split into two pools, in the East division: Rhodes Knights, Attica Rhinos and Athens Raiders, and in the West: AEK, Aris Eagles, Glyfada Sharks, Patra Panthers, Perama Tigers and Pyrrichios, whilst four women’s teams: Attica Rhinos, Aris Eagles, Athens Raiders and Patra Panthers will face each other. The schedule shows a triple-header Grand Final on 18 March 2023 for all three divisions."

Not a bad start

(Moved from even more irrelevant thread I accidentally put it in)

Taukamo has had shoulder/pec surgery.

No idea how long he is out. Impressive scar though.

Nicho and the majority of 1st grade squad started pre-season today.
Won’t include some of the guys who played WC.

Iro and Katoa are training.

BHU is injured and also his wife just had a baby.

Ronnie and Taukamo are injured.

I assume Talakai, Nikora, Hunt and Kaufusi have been given a little bit more time off.

Ikuvalu is injured.

Only players unaccounted for is Rivett.

*

Couple of other faces I don’t recognise in there. Off to the player ID thread again…

With Finch serving his 2 year sentence in the community it's appropriate he lives in the eastern suburbs, at least the Roosters have no juniors.
Trying to get his hands on other peoples juniors was the issue in the first place wasn’t it?

Cody Ramsey is in hospital due to ulcerative colitis. Been in there for 2 weeks and has 2 more weeks to go.

Sounds bloody painful!
