And if he wants them. Flanno's record is an open book but being a coach noaways is still more than it was the last time he had the gig. Especially at the Dragons. I'd want to sit down and talk through all the details if I were either of them.
Yeah but a sit down and talk is different to going through an interview process

Not sure what an interview achieves when he’s coached nearly 200 nrl games & won a premiership. Fair enough if they are looking for a rookie.

Otherwise they should identify who they want as their coach, have a conversation with him and if all checks out then make it happen. Flanno just started his assistant coaching gig at manly and I’m sure he would love to coach again but he’s not desperate.

Mate there is a difference between an interview and a conversation
Just a simple pre organised, compulsory conversation with a potential future employer to determine if he is a good fit for a role with then or not

Interview - formal process, involving multiple candidates

Conversation- informal process, hash out minor details to confirm good fit for both parties

In any case, I think this argument has run its course. Not a very interesting one.

I'd say it was more a conversation

Argument (noun).
(1) A wife’s preferred method of foreplay
(2) after five beers, the only thing my best mate wouldn’t be capable of mounting

A bender with Singo might have been the interview process for coach of the Central Coast Bears if they'd been admitted to the NRL.

I’m confused - I just said that he doesn’t have time for the bs that club pulls because he knows what they are about.

He basically says as much, he’s also going to get interviewed by Hornsby and Dean Young lol
Imagine going to a job interview, and being questioned by 2wannabes who have never been and never will be at your level. No wonder the joint is such a basket case.

I think Hornby and Young are two of the other candidates being considered for the job (if they go for a rookie coach). Wouldn’t be part of the interview panel though.

the nrl never surprises me

tim sheens interviewed himself and declared himself the best candidate for the tigers position

wouldnt surprise me if the dragons got 2 competitors to flanagan to interview him and vice versa

hornby and young interview flanno

young and flanno interview hornby

hornby and flanno interview young

what could possibly go wrong?

They each write down the name of the person they think deserves the job (can't put yourself) and the person with the most votes gets the gig.
A tie goes to rock paper scissors*

*if you go scissors you auto lose because those aren't allowed near dragons jerseys
