Link to current injury updates. No mention of Kennedy but could be ducks and drakes.

Confirms Wades injury was a 4 to 8 weeks recovery. Possible return in next few weeks.

Well Ikuvalu can't be OK, why would Fitz play Hiroti before him? Must still not be 100%.
Perhaps more comfortable giving him until Sat rather than play tonight?

Or maybe hasn’t been able to train with team so went with guy who has been for short turn around.

Maybe Fitz didn’t mind Hiroti trying the dummy (just after it worked for Munster) and hasn’t stamped him never again - although you’d think Ikuvalu still better…

Maybe Hiroti got older?

Also mentioned BHU out to a possible 4 months.
That’s pretty much the season.
If he comes back at around 4 months it’s around finals time but he will have no fitness. 😔

In a round-a-bout way that is what I was saying. Not 100% ready for tonight so left him out.

It looks like Fitz takes an over cautious approach to managing players welfare after receiving injuries and giving them an extra week or two.

Easier to do when your immediate coaching job is not on the line.

If you have had a few poor years and desperately need wins to retain your job you are probably tempted to name players even thought they may only be at 90%.

Didn't Finucane strain his calf? Nothing to do with concussion.

How much will Karl Lawton from Manly get now? That was a very interesting tackle, probably a send off without a doubt but now the key is for the top teams players to get the same if it happens. Eitherway, how much is that for?

Someone said last night grade 2 is 3 weeks and grade 3, 5 weeks (with presumably a discount for an early plea).
