A lot faster than Chad or SJ!

I'll not that sure about top speed, but he seems to have that 0-100 of a Datsun 120Y with a13b rotary engine. Tracey is the same, so I'm hoping to see plenty of opportunities from line breaks, 3 on 2's and the like as they catch defences out
If you had of said Datsun 180b then you would have sold me.

I want us to be ready to attack from inside our own half, on a retreating defence, not just structured probing backline plays etc to get to places on the field. Ramien need to spark, not run like a 2nd rower. Want 2 min support players, one each side the ballcarryer, genuinely running hard, and more offloads this yr.
The only place on the field we should aim at is under the posts.

This bs chess game we played for years sucks.

Haven't seen any stats but I reckon last year we're bottom 3-4 teams for scoring from within our half.

I feel like I did see we were one of the best strike rates from inside 20 but one of the worst from outside 20.

Need OG Fifita for that

Last year Titans and Dragons scored most % of their tries in the middle (31%) followed by 29% Warriors and 28% Raiders, Bulldogs and Storm
Is 8th and 11th, followed by 12th, followed by 10th, 16th and 1st suggestive it is a trend worth trying to follow?
I mean, 1st is pretty good.... wonder how many of those tries started out wide though?

My first car was a green and white Torana which was built before I was born!
Ha my second car was a Torana. Mum bought it in the 70s when it was new, gave it to me in about 91 because the Datsun was so ****

Regret not keeping it now

Yep I was thinking about Ramien yesterday. He's good at shrugging off defenders but he doesn't need to shrug them off if he palms them off first. He's plenty strong enough to do it.

If Trindal isn't on he field and Hynes goal kicking ain't up to task we may well need to be scoring under the posts every try!
fmd goal kicking has burnt us the last few seasons

Last year Hynes is 74% Trindall is 81%

If Hynes is kicking just score an extra try every game will more than make up for it (easy)

Think also Katoa kicked at 100% in 2020 - could be a good option for top try scorer...

Funny people were bagging Trindall's goalkicking last year. Not a huge sample size but 36/44 isn't bad by any stretch.

Only 7* players who took 15 or more kicks have a better percentage than Tricky.
Funnily enough that list includes former Sharks Chad, SJ and even Flanju

Only 4* above him on list if you stretch it to 40+ attempts, Croker, Lil Pap, Cleary and Chad (Chad 1% better)
13 players who took 40+ attempts sit above Hynes (why 40? why not)

*Garrick not counted against Trindall but is same percentage

And we score the second least tries in the middle so not like we are making it super easy for him.
Warriors, Storm and Raiders were all amongst the teams who score a lot in the middle.

I think we are harsh critics, scarred by close games and that nightmare run of losing games we scored more tries than opposition.

This is particularly important.

I remember a commentator saying this last year about the Storm, scoring so many in the middle, that's why Pap has such a good percentage. Who knows, maybe he'd slot over a heap from out wide but I wouldn't be betting on it.

With Trindall, he seems to miss a few from the right side of the field roughly halfway between the middle and the sideline. I reckon someone like Halligan would turn him into a top 3 goalkicker.
