I’m starting this thread early because I’m sure there’ll be a fair bit of discussion.

Also, just out of curiosity I researched how much it would cost for me and my 12 year old son to go to the game.

Best I could find was $179 for each of us one way via Virgin (Qantas was $210 each), then $130 for tickets. Of course then you’d have to find a hotel room as well. Fair bit to fork out so at least I have Kayo to watch the game!

But back to the game. Our first big test for 2022. I’m really looking forward to seeing how we go.

Really looking forward to this! Both had good starts to the season, our best since 08. Plus the Storm rivalry, the boys will be fired up. Couple of old Storm players would love to get the W. against mates.

I’m expecting this game to reignite the BEST rivalry in the game in the mid 2010’s. now that both teams are good again, I’m expecting fireworks.

Melbourne $1.35 and Sharks $3.25.

Not bad odds for us.

$130 for tickets? Do you book out the entire row? Ha ha.

I'll be there.

Always a cauldron.

Eels was a big test as well! Should be a close one but we’ll need to be a lot better than we were against tigers

How **** we were puts us in good stead IMO. Lots to focus on & fix, humble them a bit for our biggest test yet.

You ****s think you're fair dinkum? This week will be an opportunity to show it.

Sometimes a bad opponent will have a negative effect and you play bad too. It’s a different story with a good one. I expect full respect and concentration next game.

No mate, in the stands. $72 for me and $58 for my 12 year old. Ridiculous. Same price for both of us to with airline tickets. Apparently if you are 12 years or over with those airlines you are an adult.

A seat is a seat isn't it? A 12yr old or an 8yr old or a 80yr old - why the difference ?

Would have thought the tigers would be the perfect game to play that less expansive game but for all 80.

Something I did like was when it was at 79th minute our line speed was probably the most energy I saw all game (not saying we had bad line speed during, just that it was nice to see such effort at so late in the game with it all wrapped up)

Those odds are not a true reflection of both teams , for and against shows not much between us . This will be all about defence and the forwards , when we disrupt the Storm's natural pattern they struggle , Fitz will have a plan and with Finucane and Hynes inside knowledge i am confident we will push them close .
