A bloody good win on a 5 day turn around from a grind and presser just reminded me also, winning a rivalry game which is also a milestone (Moyza 150th) is a rare thing too
i was actually worried about the quick turnaround. they always have me worried.

Apparently had a little shindig to honour Moyza's milestone a couple days earlier. This group is tight and give a **** about each other. I don't wanna go of early but maybe we're shaking off that disgusting habit of losing milestone games.

yes.
very balanced.
notice a theme, still building, still working each other out, still making connections
implementing new parts [of defensive systems] to the game at the club...still getting use to it...etc. etc
not getting too carried away, only 3 rounds
playing well. keep building
There's a sort of calmness but caution with self confidence. Like they're ready. Dale & Fitz just looked & sounded like 2 blokes who know whats up & whats gotta be done.

Finally a good chance to watch this match, since Canberras 2nd half this was my 1st chance to watch a full game all season. Well that was a pretty good win, we dominated most of the match I thought. Tbh a few of the tries we let them in for were pretty soft especially their 1st try. Our chances I thought we took them very well. We've only got time to reply now.

I prefer not to comment on players in particular sometimes but tbh a lot of the players played very well & hat was a good win we deserved it in particular I thought. Up up Cronulla!
Few of their tries???? They scored two… don’t get caught in the hype of needing to be critical, the first 10 min the drags did well held their own considering they were running into a stiff breeze (still 0-0) and then for 5 mins start second half they scored the opening try… other than that we put a absolute beat down in them. It was a flogging

That first 10 minutes the Dragons controlled the ball and we hardly had if , especially after their winger knocked on the bomb and they got the scrum feed somehow .
Once we did get the ball and Nicho's LONG and short kicking game came into play , we were in control and in the box seat .

Added bonus is that we can relax and enjoy the whole rest of the w/end knowing our 2 points have already been banked!

Last one I remember was when fifita grubbered for himself and won the race to score and win us the match at the death

that poor sap had no idea against our rookie coach

I think it was Todd Carney that put the grubber in and Fifita raced after the ball and got it to it just before the drags player (might have been nightingale).

I was sitting in the stands at that end, it happened right in front of me

Wasn’t it a really piss poor kick that took a deflection and then Fifita toed it ahead and won the race?

I think if you look at it again the grounding was a bit on the dodge side too haha.

Thought kick may have been reasonable, did deflect though
