Personally I think Crocker is a bit hard done by.
He was sliding off Sifa, not trying to hold on and there was no deliberate action to put pressure on his leg.
Deliberate or not, it's careless and reckless as he put himself in that position. (He probably won't get charged as the media won't be relentless as they are when it's a Cronulla player.) If the judiciary are consistent about recklessness then Croker gets 2 weeks, and Saifiti also gets 2 weeks. But I will bet neither of them get anything. Finnucane didn't mean to clip Crichton and he still got 2 matches.

And yet the outcome was dangerous, like an accidental high shot or lift

But accidents happen and Shouldn’t always be punished.

I Just think the league is going to far in some situations.

Dale’s situation is a case in point.
We all thought Dale was hard done by (and still do) but we are ready to convict Crocker for a similarly “accidental” incident.
So we haven’t learnt from previous mistakes.

The cycle needs to be broken and the MRC reviewed, so why not draw a line in the sand and apply common sense now and not continue to make further mistakes just cos “that’s what we did before (rightly or wrongly)?

Not trying to be argumentative, just want some common sense across the MRC decisions for accidental contact, and players like NAS to get charged for deliberate actions! Not just fined.

100% mate I hate the "they ****ed up & pinged our bloke so they must **** up & ping theirs" attitude. Gets us nowhere. What's Saifiti missing 2 WC games gonna do for us? Or whoever from Knights.

Croker is copping a grade 2.

Accident or not, he was off his feet and used his body to bring down Talakai.

Talakai or not, if we produce the same sloppy performance next week against the Cows, we might as well get ready for a week 2 final.

Get a clue, it's about their dirty play and putting it on their record. So essentially what you're saying is because they're not in the final 8, 'who cares'. It's about consistency from the judiciary and the match review committee, nothing to do with "they ****ed up & pinged our bloke so they must **** up & ping theirs" attitude."
Croker has injured Talakai through putting himself in a position to do so, that's not an "accident". As for Saifiti, it's about the inconsistency of the match review committee.

it’s about consistency. They haven’t admitted they ****ed up which means sprinting out and making heavy contact is still deemed illegal… I guess just if you explode an ear though.

Consistency is something we want across the MRC not just when it will benefit us.
Although happy if it could turn around and actually start benefiting us for once…
