They will pull out the religious / cultural card so the NRL won't go near it...

Fifita got smashed over his support by having initials on his wrist band. He wasn't pointing to it or flaunting it in anyway. It was only brought up due to some jurno who wanted to make a name for themselves.

These guys are physically showing support for an alleged murderer by way of writing, using fingers gestures and social media posts.

It looks like the massive influx of Pacific Island players is starting to have an impact off the field with their differing religious and cultural beliefs and behaviours.

Will be very interesting what happens from here.
Honestly people can show to support for whoever they want. If a friend of mine made a bad choice and ended up in jail I would still support them. It does not mean you agree with their actions but It is really no one else's business who anyone choses to support and offer friendship too. Imagine if he wins the appeal then what? Will they get an apology?

Yeah everyone has cut Adrian off at some stage. It's funny how when you hear him or Shane on the other stations, you know they have more to say but never get to say it.
Sometimes these stations also get their regulars to ring up and bring up a pre-arranged topic so they can then talk about it.

Know for a fact it happened when a certain coach got the sack and he just so happened to have ties with the networks sponsors. Wouldn't have been right for the hosts to rant but if the public brought it up....

Agree (to an extent) but the NRL code of conduct would have rules around what you can and can't do whilst representing the NRL.

They set the precedent with Fifita so let's see what happens.

Yeah like I'm pretty sure that The Nark on BSB, is probably paid to ring up every week with his rant.

They don't screen calls on Talkin' Sport Bort. You ring up, say you name and give them your number and they ring you back when it is your turn. You can talk on any subject you like and they don't cut you off like the commercial stations do, which I find very irritating. I have only heard Heaps do it a couple of times, I think he cut Adrian off as he was rambling on and some guy the other day who wanted to talk about the Top Gun movie.

The other stations want to know what you want to say and when you've said your bit, that's it, they cut you off and you don't get a chance to say goodbye or thanks. They do say thank you for your call but it is way after they've cut you off. I'm old school as you all know so I find it a bit rude.
So can’t they just not ring back the guy with the name and number they don’t like?

I'd show support, too. Might get stabbed otherwise

That’s where he gets his big scoops from.
Talk back radio and pulls them out at NRL360 claiming to be from his own journalistic investigations.
And then makes an article based in NRL 360 the next day.

Then rings up radio stations talking about the articles under an alias.

The man is a genius.
