On paper this should be a cakewalk.

On past experiences it is anything but.

We all know that Manly could trot out their entire feeder club side and we'd still get beaten.

But is this a different Sharks side with Fitz at the helm? It is worth noting that players like Nicho, Dale, Cam and possibly others, haven't had this issue before with playing at other clubs. The Brookvale hoodoo may not apply to them and might give us the edge.

No Toby for us among other injured players but no Saab for them, nor Turbo - just have to worry about Jurbo and DCE and smash Walker.

Should be a 20 point win but as a long time Sharks supporter a 1-2 point win will do.

Walker fined for a sin-bin worthy (apparently) high shot - given high shot is arguably more illegal than late shot (I think that's fair to say?) how are he and Tieg comparable in terms of both on field punishment and charge?
I'd suggest three out of four of these decisions are wrong - both not bins, no fine for Teig. Otherwise if they both deserve a bin and Teig deserves a fine surely a bin worthy high shot deserves a week+

Don't really need to worry about Jurbo - you know what you'll get from him which is good forward work but not really a threat.
DCE and Foran if they are on. In particular DCE could give Dykes a bit of a run around especially if not awake to early kicks.
Croker can get a bit crafty near the line.

He's been a bit out of form but Olakau'atu is very damaging if he gets going.

Then getting done by the tits yesterday does wonders for us I think. That puts the red line through any hope they had of making the 8. Hopefully they will be extra complacent now….

We have everything to play for so we really need to show up this weekend and put in a good performance. I felt like that first half last week was really dominant (albeit against a terrible side) we should be able to get away with a decent win if we are serious this year.

No more excuses no more hoodoos we need to play finals from here on in. I think the cows will lose to the bunnies next week so we just need to win our last three and we finish second with a home qualifying final probably against an understrength cowboys. That will be the only real path to grand final glory I can see.

Yeh you don't want to lose the first week and play an inform Souffs or Rooters second week.

Even if you win it will take at of energy out of the tank for the GF Qualifier

I did chuckle watching the Ch 9 footy show yesterday when the female host (sorry not sure her name) said to make sure you stick around for the Titans Manly blockbuster coming up at 4pm.

Yep and if we lose week 1 we would end up most likely playing panthers in the prelim. So it’s almost a must to win week 1

Tracey sounds like a sure thing, wording around Moylan was a bit more vague, he could miss another week.
Didn't mention Talakai which makes me assume he will be back too.

No amount of hoodoo should compensate for how **** ManabcdefgLGBTQI+ANLY have been going this year - our only recent loss was against the best team in the comp - their only recent win was against the biggest pleb team in the comp

They have some good players and an experienced coach, they shouldn't suck as bad as they do, not that I feel sorry for them

Time to bend them over brookie and give them the full pride treatment

We always **** the bed at Brookie, no matter how **** they’re going. Hoodoos are real and we have one here. Really hoping it ends this weekend, but seeing as we’re Cronulla, I wont go into this one overly optimistic.

However if there was ever a time to end it, it would be this week seeing as we have a lot more to play for then they do. But you know, we’re Cronulla……

Good test for us before finals, they have a good enough roster to trouble us if we let them and we have to overcome a curse too

Harper needs to overcome the curse of the Talakai as well. Do we know if he is playing?

Was dropped this week for Parker but with Saab out the move could be Harper in and Koula to wing

Geez Moyza really sucked us in.... I've been loving the way he's been playing, skillful and physical, but it does raise the question again if his body is up to that level of intensity these days.

Or maybe it's just an injury anyone would get, you just don't know... time will tell I suppose

Currently only Blayke, Hynes, McInnes, Toby and Wilton have played more than Moylan
Ronnie and Nikora same amount, Ramien and Talakai ones less

If he didn't play again this year it'd be very disappointing but still a pretty respectable 19 games. Plenty wouldn't have thought he'd hit that.
Most games he's played since his first season with us and fourth highest total in his 10 year career.

But should be back soon you'd think. Worth being extra cautious since we can afford to be.
