Just watched the game..

Hynes and Tricky killed it - trickys game allowed Hynes to unleash, roam and run abit more without being worried about 5th tackle, Tricky played a very good game.. seems to know what works for him abit better now

Dykes - kid is electric, he looks like a better runner then Kennedy. We have some mad young talent in the spine , a spine of Dykes/Kennedy brailey tricky and Hynes in the future would give any team a nightmare

Forwards did well, 2nd half is a ride off we left a few tries out there but there was enough to know we were a much better team

I don't understand why at the press conference Griffin and Hunt didn't thank Cronulla for making so many errors that it kept them in the game and made it look like they were competitive .

Interesting that Annesley came out today and said in his opinion Sims should have been sent off.

I thought 10 mins was fair but judging by the charge maybe he should of.

Feels like Annesley just checks out the vibe and goes with it. Imagine having that bloke as your boss
TBF a lot of commentators and fans would like more vibe to considered in decisions (or at least, they think they would).

If someone needs to be stretchered off due to your illegal head contact the amount of direct force involved I think definitely falls into send off and grade 3 territory. For me it was a send off.

Yeh. He so admitted they got call wrong in the Bulldogs Cowboys game - Awarding a Cowboys try when it was a double movement.

But, in true NRL fashion they also found a Cowboys no try which should have been awarded. How convenient.

Fair enough. That could get dangerous though with players feigning injuries then a miracle happens and they return to the game

I think if you get stretchered off that's a cat 1 auto rule out haha

Yep maybe in the case of a HIA

What about if it was a touch and go Hip Drop and they player carries on like Hastings (even though Hastings wasn't acting) then after the send off he comes back on.

Need to be careful ruling on the run based on suspected injuries. Clubs will take the piss.

But you don't need to be careful around ruling differently based on what those injuries are.
Independent doctor already has authority to make calls based on suspected injuries to head. If someone is being stretchered off with a head injury it's a guaranteed rule out so ref can adjudicate it as such.

Surprised he wasn’t sent…
Thought burgess was only a sin bin week prior…
Who knows
I thought it was worse than burgess one, send off wasn't awful call for that one but I though 10 mins. Looking at them I think I know which one I'd rather wear.
Not that I'd like to test if I prefer chewing on Burgess' forearm or Sims' shoulder

You wouldn't say the way referees officiate makes you think Annesley holds the opinions he shares. More my meaning

WK was marched for a reflex action that looked spectacular but the "victim" bounced straight back to his feet unharmed.

I don't believe Tarik had any more intent to cause harm than WK but Tracy was halfway to the grave being stretchered off and it was clear his night was over, probably at least the following week as well. I'm no fan of taking the injury into consideration but it clearly is sometimes and other times ignored.

Injury may not have to be a factor but force is supposed to be and it was about as much force as a very large professional athlete could deliver
