Feels like a loss.
Bench rotation is ****. Hunt, Toby and Finucane all played 5-10 to long in their first stints.
Fifita worst game of the year.
What feels like a loss? Letting in 2 tries while we have 12 on the field? Defending our asses off and getting a good set of points up?

How the **** does that feel like a loss lol
90% of the team tonight where average, never won the ruck all night, plenty of errors, missed tackles, looked clunky and timing all over the place. Plenty of luck tonight against a very under strength poor cowboys team.
Besides some solid try line defence against a very mundane attack wasn’t anything else positive to take out of that.

A wins a win at the end of the day the 2 points count but nothing in that win to be excited about.

I didn't watch alot of the game but we kind of looked more erratic with Hynes. Last week we looked composed and focused.

I am happy that we cut down our errors in the second half. I am happy thatbour defence is getting to the level that was at the beginning of the season. I am happy that even when do not play 100% we win games because it is hard to play 100% all the time.

I am also happy that in a week where our competition has soft opponents we won and equalized points with the chasers.

Our weak side is Graham,Moylan,Tracey…

Jesse,Wilton and Nicho doing three times the work
The weak link on the left edge defense is Graham, he's too slow, doesnt move up quick enough or cover his outside, put alot of presure on outside backs

Because they played poorly against an extremely understrength team. Should've put 50 on that cowboys side.
Away, against one of the best defensive teams in the comp? Sure they're missing players, but that doesn't mean their defence falls to pieces.

In attack and defence that group of players is not good together

I agree, tries to do too much, needs to simplyfy his game a bit and focus on getting through sets, which is what Trindall did last week, allowed Moyza to get more involved also.

Melbourne were way more off their game then what the cowboys were, storm were very un-storm like, cowboys were up for the challenge

Can't compare the 2 games
Yeah, I reckon the halves had a lot more time last week compared to this week.

Start Talakai left edge back row, keep Tracey at Centre, he stood up second half defensively, and did some tough carries coming out of our own half like he always does. Graham on the bench, play lock

How many players did they have out? 4
5 I think and we had 3.

On that note we played very poor at times (drop balls, penalties, kicks dead and out on full etc) but made twice as many tackles on our goal line and had a player in the bin for 10. Travelled up to Townsville too where they have been good.

Our defence won us the game imo

Stoked to get the win but we do some dumb things, can't give away three 7 tackle restarts like that. Also way too many mistakes in the second half. Still, they had plenty of ball on our line and out defence was mostly very good.

Toby's first stint was awesome.
