There was pretty good footage of it so if some dick head spit then good chance he'll be in strife. And so he should be, fair enough give the bloke gobful but spitting is ****ing low, especially if he can't belt you.

Fantastic win last night with a team effort. Disappointed today that the media focus on Smith send-off instead of highlighting the Sharks scoring tries. Footage on Seven was mainly about Smith walking off and Bromich injury. Good grief.

So what is a hip drop anyway ?

I watched kids being taught to hit around the hip or thigh and finish around the ankles ?

I know Melbourne put a spin on this with the leg twisting tactics among other things .

Are you suppose to just drop off the tackle instead of slipping down?

Holding the hips of player with ball and throwing weight down into lower legs of player. Usually looks like a distinct action to throw weight onto legs where I would say Nikora was momentum as part of a reasonable tackle

Smith should get fined too for trying to cheat the ref with his spectacular fall.

And trying to milk a penalty before he was binned. He seemed to think the tackler made a second effort. BS. I assume he spat it that he did not get a call go Melbournes way.

I thought Bellamy showed a lot of class in the presso; apart from insinuating that his tackled players were slowed in the ruck - the audacity of the man!!
