but was busy finishing the new babies room in anticipation for her arrival next week.

I rate it, fantastic place to watch footy. Maybe some question marks over the drainage but that was a **** tonne of rain.
Babies room/man cave with poor drainage? Genius from your Mrs to put a telly in the babies room, on game day she can send you both in there to get shitty and cry together.

Took us maybe 15 mins to get out of the carpark next to the ground but the drive home wasn't too bad, I live a bit closer to the ground than you though.

I must say, it's an absolute pleasure going to that ground. Chalk and cheese going to a rainy game there compared to a suburban ground like Shark Park.

Also my 7 year old's first game and he loved it. Cheering and screaming all game, really into it. About the best I could have hoped for.
Yes mate, it’s a great place to watch the Footy. So glad your boy loved it.

Where were you sitting?

We were on the Eastern side Bay 216. Just on the 40 metre line about 3/4 the way up.

Lmao. Dont get sucked in by a torpedo bomb, Burtons kicking game is absolute ****
I agree. I think too much hype over kicks that touch the clouds. While that's great to have that rocket launcher in your arsenal, the aim & strategy is pot luck at the moment.

In my opinion, right now, he's a gun centre with a wicked left boot.

Adds a new element when you can take your boy (or girl) along to watch the Sharkies eh?

Only problem for me is that the Sharks are usually duds when they play in Qld. I keep taking my boy to losses. Have been taking him since 2015-ish. I think the win over the Warriors this year was the first time he’s seen a Sharks win live. Even 2016 we could only manage a draw against the Titans.

Yep definitely more fun mate. Would much rather go to the footy with him than a bunch of mates on the cans. How times change.

In your head, rent free
I guess if you throw enough darts - you hit the target eventually ..

Numerous awful decisions ..
His 50/50 calls were based off the touch judge

He also made some superb calls, like Flanno walking off the mark to play the ball, calling a no try when kennedy got pushed

I dont know how anyone could come away from that game and blame Ashley Klein, he reffed it superbly

You would hope he gets some decisions correct

Agree to disagree mate - if he is the best ref we have got - the game is in trouble ..
