They looked slow and lethargic through the middle. And then when we went wide, they ran sideways with no one rstraightening up to give anyone space
That’s 3 games this year already weve run out like that

Any chance brailey can find a forward running straight
I was waiting for a couple of scoots from dummy half.

Canberra own Cronulla. Have done for donkeys years. I am thankful we jagged the 2016 finals win.

Canberra were without Wighton FFS.

Speechless.

Read something from Siebold talking warriors game during the week, that when teams gain a one man advantage they become obsessed that all the space in on the outside but apparently up the middle is most of the time best way forward..

Can’t have those games. I was about to put a bet on Sharks winning, then remembered Sharks
Not cool bro we got to sit through that, we wait all weekend to watch them play

How the hell did we choose to keep Trindal over Metcalf.

Trindall looked like he had been taking lessons from Chad Townsend

Wade just gets in the way of the left side attack now as well

rubbish game with no intent from most, could see by first 2 sets of the game our attack was ****.

if tri dal plays next week I am not watching
He is demanding the ball and killing off the attack. He doesn’t have the pace so tried to compensate with poor offloads and even the raiders defence worked this out and would flood the tackle.
Where Wilton would run the dummy and then get the odd one through (often scoring) and talakai would get early ball it’s all Graham to ‘ballplay’
It’s a 4th playmaker and the same issue the roosters have. Let Hynes steer the ship, Moylan support and the full back chime in where needed.

Happy to make the 8 this year after that display. Can’t really put my finger on why we were so lethargic and poor today.

Perhaps last week took a fair bit out of us but no excuses whatsoever.

It’s been said so often but anyone can beat anyone in this comp so you have to have no complacency at all. We just thought it was going to be so easy today and with the start we got it looked that way getting the ball back after the kickoff.

The Raiders defence was brilliant and our attack was ****ed. Need to roll the sleeves up during the week and get this performance out of their heads.

Can’t trot out the same backline next week. Won’t have Dale or Williams either I reckon.

We didn’t choose that? metcalf chose to leave

Wish Trindall did take lessons from Chad we could have stayed top 4

Perfect storm of **** against us. Still should have played better though, we’re 10 points down and kept playing dumb

Bad team selection
Bad starting team
Tired from last week
The old sharks ‘we should beat them we are higher on ladder’ BS
Conditions (Katoa eyes into the sun which was gone by second half)
They were allowed to dominate us in the ruck

He chose to leave because we kept playing Trindal over him and he could see he was down the order…

Not sure why Fitz took the week off, it was his players putting all that effort in against the Warriors not him

That was deadset Josh Hannay ball today, shudder.....

Raiders just didn't wanna make a mistake and that was probably the only thing that was gunna save us cause we really struggled to find a way through. exhausted ourselves with the ball down their end and then some weak defense near the end Raiders splitting us open

too slow and lateral all day, no one looking to burst full steam onto a straight ball other than maybe McG and Dale and its what we needed more off. the fancy backline movements just wernt the same with the team reshuffle and the Raiders read it well.

So many handling errors and penalties. disappointing, might have still had a chance if we held the pill , flat passes read by raiders and put the ball receiver under pressure all day
