Those conditions would have had Flano rubbing his hands together back in the day, perfect conditions for the Flano era coached sides.

Just a few points:

1: As good as WK has been, we lose nothing at all by playing Nicho at Fullback. Should chime in no problems at all.

2: Connor might not have the tackle busting power of Ramien, but he links perfectly in the backline, and is a very good all round consistent player with no real weakness.

3: Really hope Trindall makes the most of this opportunity. I like him, but hope that he doesn't stifle the fluency of our backline in attack by trying to do too much himself. A good solid all round game is what we need from him, and hopefully some good kicks.

4: We should be able to put these guys away without Wighton, even though we don't have WK and JR.

5: I think the player we are missing the most is BHU.

Yep, really expect Trindall to keep things veeeeery simple, and that'll be a big tick in his future prospects box.

It'll be interesting to see how we play structurally. I actually think we'll run with a gameplan that has Trindall well involved, as though he was the starting 7 and not a sub-par fill in that needs Nicho to cover for him. (not necessarily my opinion, but you know what I mean.) We need to see Trindall play his game, for better or worse, to know what a team with him in it could look like. It's a future that's very possilble, and he needs to show Fitz he can allowed to play his part - solid defense (tackles and structure), good service and a smart kicking game.

3 I’m still on board with Trindall, I’ve seen some stuff I liked previously but his inability to make smart use of his chances recently haven’t helped. Next two weeks a huge opportunity for him.
He could prove we don’t need to fight to keep Moylan.
He could prove we need to fight to keep Moylan until Trindalls more ready.
Or he could prove we need to fight to keep Moylan and start urgently looking elsewhere.

Best thing he can do is just concentrate on doing little things and defending well, and not overplay his hand.

Looks like you've already given him your 3 pts so no need to sit on the fence mate

Is anyone worried about how much that win last week took out of the boys physically? Our confidence will be good but is that extra work they all had to do for more than 60 minutes going to take its toll?

Yeah, also the heavy ground won't help their legs late in the game. I just feel the Raiders always lift when they play us, hopefully we'll overcome all adversity.

Adam Elliot out for the Raiders. Dunno if that's good or bad tbh.
