royce was getting amongst the people at the game according to Sharks socials. I would think they might be cautious about players with flu? would they? or would it be all relaxed these days? not sure.

happy to see that team.
I'm sure the boys are motivated enough to want this one against the raiders.
they will have plans.
Ronnie was out with flu and around all our boys too

So Hynes got picked at FB & Trindall got his 1st go in halves. I don't think it's such a big deal, Trindall certainly wasn't terrible last year, he's only young too so he may aswell get as much experience as possible with us. Obviously Fitzzy has faith in him.

Eitherway, you'd think Hynes would still be our main playmaker while attacking, Hynes will probably just go back to FB while we are defending when our 2 wingers are back too considering he's done an efficient enough job at FB for Melbourne in the past. All the better to have an extra playmaker anyway. I wouldn't be surprised anyway if Trindall is more or less used as a hooker anyway to give Brailey a rest for a bit when he needs one.

With Trindall,Hynes and Moylan in the spine it could perhaps even make us more creative with ball in hand.

Keen to see how well this line-up performs
More creative than with Will?

I’m hoping Fitz gives Trindall a very basic game plan for this week & makes a point of telling him he doesn’t need to pull off any big plays.
Make your tackles, direct us around the park, get us to positions of the field for tackle 5, kick to open spaces & repeat sets.

Yep i was the same thought. Wonder why AF left out? Thought he went well last week. Heavy track maybe? If so that shouldn't worry him.
He seemed to have issues with his knee towards the end of his stint. Maybe something to do with that?

Stopping papali, rapana and tapane will go a long way towards winning. Like to see sifa steamroll Crocker this week, like a poor jockey who’s foot get stuck in the stirrups just drag him 30 metered to score under the dot.
