Is it just me or is the pre season content from the Sharks even worse this year than previous. If there's full time content creators being paid right now they must be loving the bludge.

Need to go over to the Panthers and see the stuff they're doing. Great insight to the team.

Unless we're trying to be all top secret then we're doing a great job

At least there are some new training shots today, it has been quiet

Photos seem to include Blayke and new kid passing from hooker including to McInnes lining up with forwards

Pre season is pretty boring tbh

This player is training the house down. Starts season in reserve grade.

So and so is the fittest I've ever seen. Fat again by rnd 5.

This bloke has put his injury troubles behind him. Does an ACL in a trial.

Anything but top 4 is a failure. Finishes 9th

This is what we miss from having players like Greg Bird, Josh Dugan, and a young adventurous Mat Moylan. How to we keep our media presence without our dodgy nightclub presence?

This player has been training with the kicking tee and nailing them all day and night. Spends all season running the tee out to our 7

These players have been working on some new combos. Never even seen at the same ground together on game day

This signing brings experience , quality and depth. Is playing for Roosters by April

Lost our famous Sharks culture and identity once JMO took over - sharks media team had to work in over drive to generate the clubs own publicity for a change

How many current Sharks players have Tongan heritage? I'm thinking Katoa, Fifita ...

It must be terrifying for people not being able to contact their family and friends after a disaster

I could care less if they just copy pasted old articles and changed the names. I’m stinging for content, checking the forum and sharks site for new news, but there is nada. Would be nice to hear from more of the players, any of them.

All my news is still clogged up by covid and djocovid (tbf I don't really go out of my way to pursue news very much)
Had a quick goog about the eruption but is it correct that major concern currently is lack of communication and ongoing risk of air/water quality rather than an especially high death toll (nothing like boxing day 2004)? Or anyone can fill me in a bit?

The under water cable connecting them to the world broke about 47kms away, the closest repair ship is 4000 something kms away is what I heard yesterday

Like Capital said, the cable was cut and the satellites are finding things difficult because of the ash cloud. Drinking water is probably contaminated by ash. As far as impact from waves, very hard to tell but I just saw this article which gives some info

Oh that seems like a hassle...
I don't know how fast ships go. Gotta assume that's at least a few days though even assuming that ship can be crewed 24 hours?

Are they thinking deathtoll is 1000s, 10,000s, 100,000s? Or nowhere is even guessing?
