Playing half in these highlights.
About of half of that video he is playing 7.

Might be an OK running 6 in the NSW Cup, but hard to say how well he's suited to play as an NRL half.

If he had a ceiling that was similar to what Burton did this year at Penrith that would be nice. I have no expectations but am cautiously optimistic about his signing.

Apparently only one Sharks player not vaccinated which I think is pretty good. Best in the comp.

Can have a guess who that one player is too.

So what does this mean? That they can't play next year?
Not sure about next year but they can't enter Shark park for preseason, atleast till Dec 1st.

They maybe just won't be able to play in Melbourne, NZ maybe QLD depending on what that regions policy is on vaccinated players.

I hope we don't have to pay them for the games they miss. **** them.

Isn't V'landys' latest stance that players won't need to be vaccinated? And that clubs shouldn't sack players who don't want to?

Who knows, things seem to change pretty quick.

The Government is now saying they might allow unvaccinated tennis players in for the Open.

**** that.

Think he is mostly just trying to keep his hands clean of the mess by not forcing a mandate while many of the clubs seem to be doing a good job internally.
Once he has a better idea how diff state/country policies will be affected by vax/non-vax he will get more pressure on him to do something about the unvaxxed

Cheese and NAS will be an interesting issue for Storm if it is true they won't get jabbed and then won't be allowed to play in Melbourne.

Can't be easy for clubs and NRL to deal with, just recently saw a guy on facebook who used to play league (not professionally) arguing he shouldn't be forced to wear masks because if they don't work it is no difference, if they do work then everyone else already has one so why should he need to. How is he "thinking" this would work? McGowan to declare everyone in WA has to wear a mask except this one random mid 40s permanent resident?

Interesting Read
Lazy forwards ?

Surprised to read we had the oldest team*.
Not surprised we used the least players but it was more lack of options than good injury luck... 74% of players may have played 11 games or more but we had big $ out for big stretches.
*not using more kids is where we end up with the oldest team I assume

In regards to 'lazy forwards' not sure how Jacks 7 lines up but other than that numbers very low besides, obviously, 12 from Woods.
We all know he is good for a shocking lazy effort pretty much every second game well there it is as a stat. Doesn't affect that this year he was one of our most important forwards for the tackles he did make and meters he made as we didn't really have anyone who could replace him.
Look no further than that number when it comes to why he isn't being retained though.

Mate, hate to break it to you, but each and everyone of us is going to catch COVID at some point. I don't see the point in not allowing them. Most people who have actually had the virus will end up with better long term immunity than any vaccine and should not be part of the mandates. You can also catch COVID from people who are vaccinated.
