Hey all, im terribly sorry this took so long to do. Stuff happened and it fell off the radar unfortunately, so I do apologise. Anyway here’s the summary:

Well……I didnt expect that. Will Kennedy has had an absolute break out year to canter to the SF Player of the Year title, to think some of us wanted him replaced by Corey Allan in the pre season! Including my good self. In an otherwise meh year, he was the shining light of class to our indifferent grey of average-ness.

Looking far down from Kennedy’s perch, its good to see 21 players pick up votes over the course of the season, everyone has their favourite players but its good to see people giving out points on merit and not on agenda, unlike some of the bigger player of the year awards floating around.

Toby Rudolf finished up in second place, a very good year for the loveable sexpest. A full time move to the front row with Dale Finucaine in his ear next season should hopefully take Tobes to another level.

Another pleasant shock on the podium with Jack Williams finding himself in 3rd, holding out the very impressive Connor Tracey by a single point. 2020 Williams and 2021 Williams are night and day. One of the most improved forwards in the whole league, definitely developing into a very handy weapon to have on your bench.

Overall, im very happy with how this year turned out when it comes to this award and I’ve got to thank you all so very much for participating and making it work as well as it has. Your all legends for embracing this like you all have. This award might be just a bit of fun for us but things like this add to the overall atmosphere of the forum and I really appreciate everyone took the time to vote, it was a lot of fun for me to run it this year and I definitely would like to do it again in 2022 if thats ok with everyone.

Thank you all, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a fine New Year. Here’s to a new and hopefully successful Sharks era in 2022.

Thanks for doing this CM, more than happy for it to continue.

I'll try to not call out the idiots who poll silly votes, I'll leave that to you now! :)

I think you did a terrible job and frankly you should be ashamed of yourself.
