Wilton's disgusting effort really set the tone for the second half, that was an abysmal effort.

We tried to play them through the middle too much. The Melbourne defence was just too strong, along with their ability to show down the ruck. I didn't know how they get away with it, but they stopped us dead pretty often

At least we played Pap into form like we do everyone who's struggling. I was worried about him a bit.

Yep. How frustrating is this. We do it everytime! I can recall over the last few years games where players we out of form going into our game then miraculously had blinders - Dufty, Milford, Wighton, Ponga and now Paps. The list goes on.

Just too bigger ask with the forward pack we ran out with. Needed Hunt and/or fifita, we were just at least a big body short.

It’s sad but I hardly watched the game, just wasn’t confident we would play well.

I was mildly interested at the break but after that **** first ten minutes forget it.

**** fan I know but we lost any chance of making the 8 when we got beat by the Knights and Warriors.
