I feel like, considering our history with injuries the past few season, having another guy with a Masters in physiotherapy is probably a good thing

If he gets $800k Moyza back on the park, its worth appt him, even if he only works with the rest of the group 1 Day pw

So that's gotta be like 300/350k up on either of our wingers probably leaves us nothing noteworthy to spend anywhere else. How much higher would we have finished this year with same side except JAC instead of Ronnie?

Or are we trading out Ronnie/Sione and then running JAC at FB?

Ronnie was very very poor in defence this season... I would make the upgrade 100%

Our whole team was, upgrading one wing only does so much for that (especially as while Ronnie wasn't great by any means I do think his life was made harder by our struggling middle defence)

If we did swap Ronnie for JAC I'd be inclined to think our best backline was 1 JAC 2 (Ferris/Hiroti/Nene) 3 Dugan 4 Ramien 5 Katoa
I think JAC would definitely start to quickly agitate for a pay raise if he went decent at FB so that'd be a hassle in the future, but at least one based off having someone going decent at fullback...

Otherwise you are looking at Kennedy JAC Dugan Ramien Katoa and hoping Kennedy gets a lot better quickly.

Shame the club couldn't give Benji the minimum allowable wage for 2 years with the understanding that the 2nd year he is just there to assist as a mentor ONLY ,
He gets good coin .
We get a good Johnno replacement next year .
Then we're only down a SMALL chunk of cap in 2021.
Everyone's a winner

Limited Cap Space, same injuries to ageing players, gonna be a Same Same on field performance yr. Problem is, other Clubs on the rise probably puts us around 10th spot(Depending on the draw)

I dunno mate. A lot of where we went wrong this year was from attitude and effort. Yeah we had injuries and all the rest but for a huge chunk of the season we were 2nd in Points scored. Our efforts in defence were terrible and they CAN be fixed but our coach needs to really sort them team out and get them fired up.

I think the team gets some belief from this year that improves their attitude next year. They showed they understood what was required and would respond to bomber, especially in that first half of the final. I'm expecting a solid pre season for a much more more settled
squad, and performances to match

Yeah it certainly can't hurt, might be what he's there to look after.

Support staff chop and change between clubs all the time, look for that next opportunity, or considering the niche industry just a job. This guy might be coming over in a lower role if there's no other Head of role, and moving to a neighbouring club is a pretty sweet gig.

Matt Jay has gone to the Tigers

Yeah exactly I’m quietly optimistic our roster can do good things next year but it relies on the big money players like fifita, dugan and moylan getting 100% fit and firing as well as SJ getting back to this years form. With a new look coaching staff focused on Defence I can’t see why we can push for a top 4. Our younger blokes aren’t letting us down it’s the top tier players that are so it’s about getting them focused and back into form. Even just getting Wade back to 2018 form will put us in a much better spot....

Pretty sure it was closed down because of too many unsubstantiated rumours and articles being posted in there

Obviously don't want to get the site or anyone in trouble but I think there is a place for it as a lot of the same stuff does still end up being posted here, just in different threads.

Can you sticky a post within a thread to stay at top of page? Need a stickied disclaimer / reminder to how to word things / what not to do
