That has crossed my mind, I was seriously thinking about doing something like that at the end of last season, I even had a design in mind. But didn’t think the players would take it and I didn’t want to ask everyone for money LOL. Maybe some kind of gift or something. Stilettos Voucher?

Professional as always Crazy!

Just be mindful of any awards you hand out.

Players might have a clause in their contracts around SFE MVP awards which might put us into Cap breaches!

Seriously thou. Great job again this year in running this. 😃

Be good to work out some sort of SFE trophy.

If we all chucked in $5 we could get some kind of gold coloured thing that looked a bit like one of the lesser moldable metals surely.

Presented by the forum member who hates that player the most ha ha

I have a workshop that does brass work and laser engraving - doable

Who on here hates SJ the most? I thought he had more in him earlier in the year but I didn't hate him and he then went on to give a long string of performances I was happy with

Anyone got an in with Cronk to ask him to do it?

If Cronk isn't available maybe KiwiShark could check with Cameron George?

was thinking of future seasons but go back 8 months and I would have qualified

should be one of those gold chocolate medallion things this year so Rudolf and SJ can break it in half and get a piece each. maybe even give a small nibble's worth to Proctor beforehand

Yeah that crossed my mind as well. First thing I would of done is check all that.

Matty, can you introduce voting to 2 decimal places next year?

If we have a cracking win i'd like to give all 17 players 0.35 points.

Probs not aye. Hahahaha.

Other than Johnson quite different from The Count

Similar page to Thursto, but he couldn't look past a half

Sorry Luke

Warriors v Sharks 10-46

3 A. Woods 2 S. Katoa 1 B. Brailey J T. Puletua
Johnson-Rudolf-HamlinUele
Wildly different page to Puletua, he didn't even like the same bigs as us
Think this was the game we were shocked Johnson didn't get any and (semi jokingly) blamed Cronk for judging

Sharks v Dragons 28-24

3 S. Johnson 2 W. Graham 1 M. Dufty J P. Whatuira
Rudolf-Johnson-Hunt
Pauls not as much of a Rudolf fan as us, don't specifically recall how Graham played but we had just one voter give him any (2 votes)

Graham-Talakai-Rudolf
Hooker Halatau rated Brailey (we had him 4th but a long way behind)

Tracey-Rudolf-Talakai

Sharks vs Warriors 22-14

3 S. Talakai 2 T. Harris 1 T. Rudolf J D. Johnson

Obviously agreed with Burg that SJ did nothing a good junior halfback couldn't do

Roosters v Sharks 34-18

it would be interesting to see our vites against the sharks polls after the game, as SJ won, but dugan finished a point behind him

Would be easy enough as I think they stopped posting the tally after about 12 rounds but then kept posting the individual weekly results for rest of the season.

For the first time in SFPOTY history as far as I know, we have joint winners! Well deserved too because neither of these guys deserved to lose. Big congrats to Johnson and Rudolf, I suppose they can share the trophy, one week at SJ’s house, another week at Tony’s place and so forth, they’ll figure it out. A big congrats to Talakai for taking the final place on the podium and the finals MVP award, what a pleasant surprise he has been this year. 20 names on the leaderboard also shows that just about every player had their game of games to shine and do the jersey proud. Thank you all for taking part and showing your gratitude to the fellas who do our club and jersey proud. I’ll be back next season to do it all again of course.

Cheers folks.

Looking back in hindsight, I think the first 4 places are pretty right. I think Sione Katoa could have been number 5, with Wade pushed down the list further, as it wasn’t a great year for him really. My opinion is based only at looking back on the season now that it is finished. Thanks mate for your continuing work on this.
