Why was a 19 year old Sako taking the 5th penalty? He was on a hiding to nothing. Why didn’t Grealish take one?

Maguire might have to have a word with Rashford and Sancho about taking penalties when pre season starts at Man United. No mother ****a on earth was stopping Maguire’s camera buster.

grealish shaw phillips pickford and the big one for me sterling why were all these guys standing back allowing a 19 year old who'd never even taken a penalty before for his club.

Southgate is rubbish

His tactics were a bit too safe but they worked for the most part. Sort of reminded me of what Ole does when he uses McFred in the pivot for United. Deep line football and hit on the break. The difference is Southgate was doing it against Italy and Germany. Ole was doing it at home to ****ing Burnley.

Englands strength is their attack, Southgate should of had the courage to unleash guys like Grealish and Sancho more. But I can say anything I want, it doesn’t really matter because he got the results apart from the last one.

They had a pretty soft draw, with the exception of Germany but they’ve been disappointing for a while now.

That was England’s chance, packed out Wembley - never going to have a better opportunity to go for it. But he played it safe. It played right into Italy’s hands. As soon as it went to pens you just knew Italy would win. Penalty line up was another strange call from Southgate
