I wonder if the points Carmen Smith scored when the Storm lost their titles for cheating are included in his total.

To think Hazem wasn't goalkicker for his first 5 seasons because of Halligan. Could have gad another 1,000 points.

Disgraceful the refs didn't stop the game. Ray Charles could have seen that was a serious injury.

There will be plenty of discussion about that.

What happened?

2 cows collided, both players on the ground with McDonald obviously seriously injured. Trainers were calling to the refs to stop play but they ignored it abd allowed Storm to get through their entire set.

I don't like play being stopped everytime a player is injured but it was obvious ti everyone how bad the injury was.

Play only got stopped when Munster got tackled after a kick, which got Melbourne a penalty they then took two points to go 6 ahead

I don't get eye gouging.

They said McGuire will be in trouble because of it, but on field they asked Munster if he wanted to make an offical complaint and he declined.

What if he said yes? Does it get reviewed and they send off McGuire straight away? Or would it make no difference because it's reviewed after the game?

Cowboys trainers looked to have ****ed up. Protocol is to tell the touchie to tell the ref to stop play. They didn't do that.

It was obvious to everyone watching on TV. The refs aren’t watching TV. Responsibility is on the trainer and/or the touchie.

At least it takes the focus of the two massive forward pass tries. NRL will be ok with that.

The trainers were waving their hands around like lunatics, find it very hard to believe the ref facing that direction didn't see it.

I understand the protocol but common senses should have kicked in there.

Smith's name/career will always have an asterick * next to it in my opinion. Had they not had an illegally formed team for those seasons they rorted the cap, he would not have amassed a fair sum of those points to his tally. But they will never look at it like that, they will just continue to circle-jerk it to him.

Jeez. Just imagine. If all 3 QLD teams are down the bottom of the ladder, the QLDers will be saying "Rugby League is dead". It will be like Origin all over, just not worth playing.

Will be panic stations up here if that is the case. Don't worry, the NRL will find a way to get them some wins, move them up the table.

Do you think the ex bronco players lining up taking pot shots, is it more a case of they 1. are still loyal to Bennett,2. don’t like Seibold or 3. are all angry their mate kevvy didn’t get the gig as coach.. I’m more thinking 3. they wish Kev was there.
