Really hope the NRL fix their scheduling next year when they supposedly take control back. I am so sick of watching Brisbane in prime time either Thursday or Friday night. A bit of variety would be nice.

Have you seen or heard the recent Foxsports advertisements? They are playing up on the free to air scheduling with a tag line around watching your team play each and every week regardless of who they are. Even bagged out how the Sharks being premiers don't even get air time and Mick Ennis was part of it ha

Apparantly Brissy would like to play some Sunday games ect at home but dunno if I believe it. TBF there squad does get pillaged during Origin time which balances things out a bit but yea I don't need to watch these ****s every thu/fri, give me some other teams

Yeah I have Foxtel so I guess I can watch any game I want. But it is nice getting home from a day of work on Thursday/Friday, grabbing a feed, cracking open a beer and watching the footy. Seriously am getting sick of watching the same team every week. I bet plenty of non-Brisbane supporters feel the same.

I hear ya and it doesn't help that Brissy are relatively dull to watch in comparison to various sydney teams

Damn straight. Can anyone here remember the defending premiers getting such a bum deal in terms of coverage as the sharks have this year? Ch 9 ought to be flogged with a bicycle chain.

Yep, would think the current Premiers would be given a lot more air time. That goes for any team that is currently holding that title. If anything Sharks should be in the Brisbane time slot and front and centre of the televised games. But nope. gotta have that Broncos-night football.

Would be keen to see this advert you're speaking of too.

We have quite a few i believe. Im not bothered by it. Parra get as many fta games as anyone and they cant hold down a sponsor.

I prefer foxs coverage. Havent watched a game on 9 yet (except for wcc) and wont til origin (if fox dont show it too)

For whatever reason Fox seem to have almost no replays during matches this year. I've found I reguarly need to rewind to take a second look at forward passes, high shots etc.

Good. Not much annoys me more during a broadcast than missing live action to have a stupid replay of something that happened literally seconds earlier.

Can't remember the game but a couple weeks ago they were doing a slo-mo replay of a knock-on instead of showing the set that just started when you hear the commentator go "woah! A massive hit on so-and-so there!" but so glad I got to see a regulation knock-on in slow motion.

Yeah agree. If they have to show a replay then do it in a box at the bottom corner of the screen, which they sometimes do.

Replay box is great when they do use it, but as you said "sometimes". Noticed a lot of things this year are hit and miss like the use of the replay box, the tackle count graphic behind the PTB pops up randomly during some matches (don't think it made an appearance at all over last round) and the 10m virtual line they talked about in the off season hasn't had a run at all.

I give this Fox League channel a pretty big thumbs down so far. I rarely tune in to anything but the games, whereas the idea of a 24/7 League channel had me thinking I'd never change channel again.

What bit are you disappointed with?

Overall I don't think its much different to last year.

Games on the weekend.

NRL 360, Matty Johns, Sterlo and the like during the week.

Every time I flick it on it seems they're replaying the living crap out of one of those shows you mentioned. Between Kent, Buzz, Hooper, Crawley and Richie its The Daily Telegraph TV. I don't read this **** and I certainly don't wanna listen to it. And that **** The Professor well every day he isn't hit by a train is a bad day.

My take on yesterday's proceedings is that a decision on this won't be made until 1 March at the earliest. Crazy stuff.

Really? I thought the meeting in March was for non financial related activities. Salary cap would fall under financial imo? I guess maybe not. If they wait till March that's just ridiculous.

Well here we are, TS, almost in April and no sign of what the cap will be in 2018. It really is hard to believe, isn't it?

He's actually playing like a halfback, and can kick which is nice because Reynolds can't.
