2017 Finals Series

Likely Sharks run. All are sudden death. No bogey teams on the run to the GF. If anything, they are some teams we have been comfortable with.

1 – Cowboys - They are busted, playing in SYD, and we have good form against them. Lose and we are chokers.
2 – Eels (Assuming Storm win). They will be beaten up and are over achieving. Again a choke if we lose.
3 – Winner of Broncos / Roosters. They will have had a week off so definitely would have the upper hand. Not a choke if we lose. That said, we have had some decent wins against these teams. Definitely no fear of them.
4 – Storm. I think we are the team they least want to play because they know there is a chance they could beat themselves a little bit. I think we get under their skin a little. They really should win though and they would see it as redemption for last year and it would be a fairytale finish for the big guys. That is a fate worse than losing an earlier game IMO because **** the Storm and **** an outcome that takes anything away from last year.

Not getting ahead of myself but we are in the best position possible other than the top 3. It's really in our hands now. Should be at full strength. Happy we are playing an outer sydney team to start with.

Week to week, I think.

Will be Friday and Saturday nights going forward. The winner of our game v Parra/Melbourne will have to play next Saturday night, no way a team gets a five day turnaround in the finals.

Must be the hangover from last year, but I'm struggling to get pumped up about finals this year.

Hopefully that will change if we beat NQ

It'll certainly be worked out week to week (as an example, 6 v 7 has been on the Sunday of week 1 for the past 6 years until this year) but you'd be looking at Saturday night for Week 2 / 3 if we managed to keep winning.
