Of those, I think the fourth option will have the greatest market appeal.

I'd still prefer it to be a beanie rather than a cap though.

I think that is the design that won. Like I said, basic black cap, Club logo & "Member 2016" is all you really need. Nothing too fancy!

I am glad to see people like the idea of a Members Rugby jersey and trucker cap, I'll be taking those ideas to the Council.

I'm already against it if its copying american sports..

I'm not sure if you are serious.... I'm referring to the size of something and using it as a reference im not saying we should turn our game into an American sport. What sort of small minded thought process is that?

you shouldnt be against it, american sports dwarf us in every aspect

as nic said, skull cap beanies just dont work anymore. i am a very large human and those things either dont fit or a so tight i get a migraine. and how are mattysharks ears meant to fit under one?

i bigger sized beanie would be better, but knowing the sizing of hats and beanies, i would take a scarf alternative

Well, it turns out I do like the American ones...

They actually look like the traditional Rugby League, AFL beanies too. The type granny used to knit. In fact at first glance I thought the second one was a Geelong Cats one for some reason.

I'm not under 30 and that nfl one looks stupid to me. I also can't stand those snap back caps either.

Oh god I'm turning into chad.

PS the everton one makes me favour that style of beanie anyway :p

I guess several designs are needed to suit different age groups

Yeah they are rad, so comfy and nice and stretchy plus very popular at the moment with younger people so would boost $$$ like the new era /mitchell and ness hats.

Whats Rugby union?

Taken from Urban Dictionary. The bold part is very appropriate.

Rugby, called "The Game Played in Heaven" by supporters and players alike, comes in two flavours; League and Union.
Leauge is a rapidly moving game with the emphasis on skilful passing and kicking. Tackles are limited; running out of tackles results in the ball changing hands. The game is more glamorous and enjoys plenty of success on TV.
Union is slower but allows for more continuity, with play only stopping if someone stuffs up or goes outside or scores etc. Forwards have a more emphasized role in that they are expected to maintain control of the ball (using brute force) if the ball-carrier is tackled. (<-personal preference)

Both games are brutal and hard-hitting, using very little body armour when stacked up against comparable games like Gridiron, and several deaths have occurred on the field, even at schoolboy level.

Despite the game's obvious merits, some people tend to misconstrue the high-intensity play as being a homosexual act. This can usually be linked to their own (latent or otherwise) homosexual tendencies. Also, the misconception that Rugby is played by 'preppy blokes in private schools' is a fallacy- Rugby can be played by preppy blokes, bogans, drongos, jocks, academics, farmboys, yuppies (i.e everyone- as long as their not wimps or averse to copious amounts of pain).
