Title thread says it all. Boys have made the top 4 in both comps well done to them all.

Can anyone shed any light on who the guns are ? are there any or is it more just a solid team performance getting us the points ?

I take it alot of them will come up into NYC once there SG Ball commitments are done? They can certainly use the help that's for sure !

Sg.ball talents:

Kennedy: Fullback, is quick and good passer
Scott: Big strong centre, good defender. Should be straight in the 20s
Flanagan: Half, Great kicking game, and great at putting backrowers through a hole. Eligible for sg.ball next year
Williams: Reg Gasnier's Grandson. Half, quick, good defender and can kick goals. Should be straight in the 20s
Brailey: Hooker, great defender, good service and quick out of dummy half. Eligible for sg.ball next year.
Savage: Hard running edge backrower who can hit a hole
Magoulis: Lock. probably the stand out. Strong runner who is also skillful. Should be straight in the 20s
The front rowers Vasquez and Ilett have had injuries but have potential and will definitely be in the 20s next year, might even get a run this year.

Mattys Cup have had a more consistent season but obviously its still early days for them. Kioa (centre) and Kula (front row) are the stand outs. Halves have improved massively and the backrow is very strong and athletic

Hopefully good times ahead

Ball leading Penrith 6-0 with 20 to go.

Would be brilliant to have both make GFs.

Sg.ball won 12-0! Apparently was a fantastic defensive effort. Mattys cup play parramatta and Sg.ball play souths

Brilliant news!

Congrats to all the academy staff and boys. This seems like progress.

Need to hang on to the guns. But wait, lots of the regulars on here don't rate our juniors or junior development so we'll probably let them make their name somewhere else.

In your head, rent free
we beat souths in the final round of the season 20-8 so we are a big shot at taking this out.

I'm not sure exactly what his role is, I thought it was just for the elite of the bunch including NYC but with the role being a new one it mightn't be full defined. In saying that is it just a coincidence that the first year we have a role like this we make both junior GFs ?

I won't be in Sydney but would have liked to have gone to the game - double header at Leichardt. Doesn't get much better.

Anyone know if the club might look to stream it from their site ?

Both teams play Townsville this weekend, who were the winners of the 16's and 18's competitions in Queensland. Also four mattys cup boys made the 26 man NSW under 16's squad which will eventually be cut down to 17 to play Queensland in a couple of weeks. They are D Smith (fullback), Metcalf (half), J Salmon (Second row) and L.Smith (lock). But yes the mattys cup boys will go back to local park football and probably still have some training sessions with the sharks. The sb.ball boys will be pushing for a run in the 20s and I'd say if they are not playing 20s they will play in the local A grade comp.
