Official 2015 - 2026 Kit Thread

Sharks players with Think Renewable

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are proud to welcome Think Renewable as the club's new front-of-shorts partner, covering both NRL and NRLW.

Think Renewable, founded in 2021 with the goal of helping Australians collectively save $1 billion on energy bills by 2034, joins the Sharks corporate family for its first sports sponsorship of this kind. The partnership covers the remainder of the 2026 season for both the men's and women's teams, extending into 2027 as NRLW shorts sponsor.

Like the Sharks, community is at the heart of what Think Renewable does, with initiatives including ReForest Now and the NSW Government Battery Rebate Program reflecting a shared commitment to the communities both organisations serve.

(and btw I'm outraged my gal Jaydika didn't get a gig here!)

I'm always curious what value these minor kit sponsorships bring
We obviously haven't been able to get anything we think is worthwhile for the front of mens for a full season
Have gone without, getting these guys on board now, but whatever they are prepared to pay hasn't been enough to carry through to next season for the men

AI says

AssetTypical annual value (mid-table club)Top clubs / premium markets
Front of shorts$250k–600k$700k–1.2m+
Back of shorts$150k–400k$500k–900k

And notes Parra reported in 2018 "their front-of-shorts position had generated approximately $1.4 million in media value during the previous season"

Bears report combined front and back of shorts at 1.5m per season, but there are obviously factors that make them more valuable right now than they likely will be ongoing.

the green companies are a new in thing. Though for my self, our energy security is too reliant on the green industry (solar and wind), need some nuclear in the mix (maybe an SMR for a community)

It's generally no-where near that in reality, especially for those more obscure spots.

I was offered sponsorship (for the company, not myself!) on the bottom back of jersey for Manly (I know, you'd expect a discount) for $20k a season. Didn't take it. You couldn't make me.

Love how the players had the name of a special female on the back, really nice touch.
If he played I wonder what Toby would have had. From reports I don’t think he has a wife or partner.

And please don’t say it would be “Anything Will Do!” Or I’ll honestly get very very angry!

As far as I'm aware he's not an immaculate conception or a test tube baby, so he would have a mother and/or grandmother.

He's also kissed a lot of straight women. A lot of gay women as well

Probably just put the name of who he lost his virginity to

But ducked his warriors contract to stay and help his mum look after his grand mother if I recall correctly, so good chance it’d be one of them
