Ah yes, the World Sevens jersey is the one I was talking about. That was our first "modern" jersey that I remember.

Super League trial jersey is kind of cool.

Shout out to Lottery Officer changing their logo to 'suit' the jersey. I completely understand why companies very rarely do this but I do appreciate it when they do!

titans go with the chargers at home, but the black and silver oakland raiders style giants away

what im saying is, the pointless titans picked boring ass colours, parramatta feat sharks. theyre taken already. use some imagination **** ya.
 
GC needed a new identity. 4 previous dead franchises. 2008 was never going to be a reboot of and old identity.

The idea was there, but they failed at the last hurdle.

They were going to be the Dolphins, with a teal and gold colour scheme, very similar to Miami. But Redcliffe (rightly so) poo poo'd the idea. Next was the Manta Rays. I think that was public chosen.

Then for no reason at all, they went with very generic Titans, and chose sand and Ocean blue as a colour scheme.

They done messed up
 
I think the name "Titans" sucks. It seemed to be popular at the time though. Their look is now dated. I never liked it, so I was right- 20 years early.

It does look terrible... That looks had 5 minutes of popularity in the 90s and it has come back around again right now in the fashion cycle. In three months we'll wake up and hate it for another 30 years.

I will admit I like it right now though.

It’s okay purely as a reference to that, if you had any connection back to the original

I take it more as a so bad it’s good (in the previous context) than it is objectively good. If anyone else did something close it would just be awful for awful sake, this refers back to something

For sure. Maybe that's a good move for the Gold Coast- terrible novelty jersey after terrible novelty jersey. Lean in to it.

To be fair to aramex whos branding is red, for a lot of our heritage or special release jerseys they have allowed integration in their he way of colour changes (black or white) to suit which is good
