It’s okay purely as a reference to that, if you had any connection back to the originalIt does look terrible... That looks had 5 minutes of popularity in the 90s and it has come back around again right now in the fashion cycle. In three months we'll wake up and hate it for another 30 years.

I take it more as a so bad it’s good (in the previous context) than it is objectively good. If anyone else did something close it would just be awful for awful sake, this refers back to coating
