Does anyone else reckon we should bring back the blue shorts as part of the away kit? (Roughly as Gaz has in that link up above).

The current away kit is very black dominant and isn't really much different to the Penrith/Warriors kits.

Also the blue shorts look mint and would be a good seller I fancy. And they wouldn't exactly be another perversion of Club identity for the sake of product diversity - they're part of the Club's heritage.

Would love to get back to this, even if just for a one-off.

There are alot of reasons why we cant just bring back old jersey, as the NRL owns the lisences to all these kits its quite a long process to change it back to an older style- and it would have to go through X-Blades not the Sharks. Also, teams are only allowed 5 kits a year-generally speaking. So throughout a season therell be the Home, Away, Indigenous, Pink, Heritage, plus the call to arms rounds, Superhero. So teams have to approve there 5 kits before the season starts- When the superhero round came around last year it was quite late so all those teams had to cut 1 kit- for the roosters it was there pink.
Unless a team has a reason to have more than 5- like cowboys and canberra this year- thats all there allowed.

out of all that...
thats what you say.

Hahaha you have no idea how much effort went into them, marvel are a pain in the ass.

Not much I can add to the other stuff you said. If that's how it works, that's how it works. I don't see why it couldn't be used for the heritage round though.

Well for all the effort they look ****. That's just my opinion, plenty of people seemed to like them last year.

I reckon we might use the white shorts with the Black jersey this year, like we did in the Nines and looked good.

I think they were only popular due to their pop culture significance. I personally would have loved sharks to have had our own tie-in, but completely understand some people not enjoying the concept at all.
I can't think which character might have suited us either.

The Wolverine jersey didn't sell at all. You can pick them up for less than $60. That's what happens when you use one of you're arch rivals colours.

Should have used the 'brown' Wolverine

Iron man, thor, hulk and captain america sold like crazy.
They were giving away the Wolverine jerseys at will.

Aquaman of course. But that would have required DC

Put Vincent Chase on the Aquaman Jersey and we'd be set.

Throw in a Drama one for good measure.
